Gnashing Of Teeth.

Hmm... Well, if we're going for pics where their teeth are showing, that opens the field up a lot. This one is not a crux scene as much as a crucifying scene. When they push the girl to the ground, she doesn't land on the patibulum; they have to wrestle her up into position for her wrists to be nailed. Here's one way to do it.



And then there's that first blow of the hammer, when the agony begins and all hope for that last-second reprieve dies.



And the second nail, making her completely helpless.



The horror of hanging by those nailed wrists.



Having a nail driven through one foot.



And then the last nail.



And everything is agony, wounds in wrists and feet, muscles knotting into painful spasms, more agony than her mind can cope with and no way to find any relief.

Some of those have never been posted and maybe still not finished. I was trying for more of a sweaty look in those first few, but I think she just came out looking too much like plastic. I've already changed her skin texture to fix that but haven't gotten around to making changes to the scenes and re-rendering.

Hot body, too. I wrote that back in '08 when Jas first posted this lady on Foundation, And as this thread makes plain, I still imagine so.

maybe intentionally? Compare the real-life faces in:

I see what you mean, Eulalia. And Cthulhu knows cumming-on-the-cross is a popular enough fantasy.

But I don't think that's what Jas had in mind. The Yusebby template was a kind of how-to manual for cucifixion. And the demo victim was clearly not enjoying the demo.

But the the render is a work in progress; he may yet refine it.

Consider clicking the "like" button as a vote and a comment as maybe ten or twenty votes! Part of my motivation in creating art is for my own enjoyment but it's 75% because people say they like it.

Apparently it wasn't all unceasing torment. And although they're not gnashing, they do show pretty teeth.

I do, but I'm not sure they all fit with the theme of this thread. I think in most of them she is at least showing her teeth as she screams wildly, so maybe these are not too much of a stretch.

To begin with, once her wrists have been nailed, they drag her to the base of her cross.



She scrambles to get her legs under her and ends up, for just a moment, in a kneeling position before they begin to lift her up. Breathing hard, she looks in horror at the head of the nail protruding from her right wrist.



They begin to lift the patibulum, get it up to chest height, then change their grip, turning their hands around for the final lift. Sabina appeals to her domina once again for mercy, but gets none. Whatever hope she had is gone. She is about to hang on the cross.



They begin to lift again, and there comes the instant where Sabina's toes touch the earth for the last time and her full weight pulls downward against the nails in her wrists. Before, she at least could use her feet for support; now that is gone too.



They lift her up until the mortise in the patibulum is over the tenon in the stipes and prepare to lower it down, joining the cross together. Sabina screams helplessly.



For most of the crowd watching her naked body writhing in agony, this is both entertainment and justice. This slave deserves this punishment, to be made an example.



Sabina continues to writhe in agony, her pain beyond bearing, frantically scrabbling her feet against the cross to try to find some purchase that will relieve her wrists, finding none.



Her struggles weaken, her vision begins to fade and darken, her head swimming. She is about to faint from the agony.



Sabina's body sags down and goes limp, her head nods forward until her chin touches her chest as she faints. She has escaped the agony of the cross for a moment.

Some of the pics I've posted on this thread are not in the original version of the story. I'll eventually post a Version 2 that will be a bit more detailed in places and will have updated pictures. The technology just keeps getting better and I get more skilled at using it to capture my imagination.

All good ... but I especially like the faint ... looks so realistic ... quite convincing.

I thought about creating some blooper scenes for The Serpent's Eye and putting those after the end. One project at a time though.
