Try it. (I did.) Stand with your back to a wall an cross your feet over as shown. Now, your legs are kind of locked, hard to bend your knees even a bit. You are kept from dropping too much which would mean less pull on your arms and shoulders and less strain on chest muscles. Lots of hip pain, but it'd be easier to breathe, though. Keeps you alive so much longer!
