# 2 I think is a pic of a medieval field, part of the lord's demesne. The girls on crosses are the lord's latest scheme for scaring away crows and other pests that might ravage his crops. Every farmer in the village is obligated to supply the Lord with a girl for this purpose.

Nice sound effects Barb. Yes, cruxlike, and an interesting scenario. Crux is a drawn out experience, maybe a drawn out death. With this one, you can measure very easily how long you have. You see your doom approaching, millimiter by millimiter.

Interesting that in some she has her ankles/legs crossed....not so exposed as in others...

I love #1 from the artist warranty4. I have commented on his work on his page on DA, he is very talented, and have told him so. He has other great works, but I think this is his only crux scene.

Just two recent finds:
