It started, and to a large extent still is, the main database of movie/film information online. It's fairly comprehensive, even for obscure non-Hollywood films. It used to link to Amazon and other video/dvd sources. I've never streamed anything from them, but I assume you have to pay, much like Youtube's video streaming.
