Cruciformae Studiosus
#2, hermanos de luz, is a very striking image.
Trying to track it down via Google took me to the blogspot of Wikbeaver, a photographer,
but I've not found the image. There appears to be another version with a female Christ and males around her.
Hermanos de luz are the rather sinister characters in pointy white hooded robes who carry torches
through the streets of Spanish and Latin American towns in Holy Week.
It is a woman on the cross - look closer at large version.
The photo file is misnamed as 'los hermanos' - actual name of photograph is 'las hermanas de luz'.
Photog's name is Wick Beavers, based in Miami - spends a lot of time in Taos NM
(as have I, thus my familiarity with his work/art).
Wick Beavers is half a genius; he makes Guy Bourdin look tame,
and Annie Liebovitz look lame, and is gaining fast on Pierre et Gilles.
