It is a woman on the cross - look closer at large version.

The photo file is misnamed as 'los hermanos' - actual name of photograph is 'las hermanas de luz'.
Photog's name is Wick Beavers, based in Miami - spends a lot of time in Taos NM
(as have I, thus my familiarity with his work/art).
Wick Beavers is half a genius; he makes Guy Bourdin look tame,
and Annie Liebovitz look lame, and is gaining fast on Pierre et Gilles.​

There's another version, in which the Christa is more obviously female,
but I've only seen it on GoogleImages,
I still can't track it down on his blogspot
(his full-size images take minutes to open on my PC)
