Never fear sweet Eulalia, I'm working on it; since I've decided the drum takes too much room we're going to put you on an oar. The route is still under study; can't decide whether to continue exploring the Greek Islands or try the Caribbean. In any case you wont have any tan lines only a few stripes.

I'm starting the year with a new computer and now that I can make Windows 8 look and act like 7 I'm starting to work. I still need some new software the old stuff wont run on the new processors but I'm getting there. During the last month or so I've been reading the posts playing the spectator and I see there are quite a few people who are interested in impalement. After I thought about it I decided that seeing a image of a bloody stake protruding from the mouth of a female didn't do anything for me. I practiced a form of impalement most of my adult life; it's decidedly much more fun then a bloody stake or post..., whatever.
So I did a picture with my idea of how an impalement should look. Don't take me wrong; it's just not my cup of tea.
This is more to my liking:

And yes our annual boat trip is on so start gathering up the girls Hans.

I'm told, Windows 9 will be the best we've seen yet. 8 was a "NO show"!

Actually of those only Vista was truly awful...it was the refusal to admit it was awful beyond the normal teething problems that largely destroyed Microsoft's reputation.

I'm still finding my way around Windows 8, 8.1 indeed.
It keeps offering me, and even doing, things I really don't want,
and hiding what I do want in the last place I'd think of looking :rolleyes:

It is Our senior :pHelmut's thread...........one of the old fellows who was at the start from this site;) and even in his seventies (no not seventeen he would ever be) still ever one of our most esteemed colleague-moderators:D
