Great images Helmut. Eulalia's thread is here http://www.cruxforums.com/xf/threads/victims-eye-view.4865/Around a month ago Eulalia proposed that the artists who show work here should attempt to show a crucifixion from the victim's perspective, I thought that was a fine idea so I went to work and finally finished today. The trouble is I could no longer find Eul's thread; looked for 20 minutes too. Sooo I'm going to put it all here whit a apology for my good friend Yul.
When Eulalia proposed that the artists who frequent this page might try exploring how a picture might look from the Victims perspective I found the idea very interesting. I’ve sort of done that before; there are images I’ve generated that approach what she suggests. Images 27 and 28 for example lean in that direction; these two images were part of some humor between Apostate and me.

Number 41 is the good old overhead shot something we’ve all seen by any number of artists.

Image number 390 is one I’ve reworked for this post to use as the base for the experiment with the victim’s perspective. I replaced her head with a camera and these are the resulting pictures; in image 391 she views her nailed right wrist while in 392 we see her body as her limited ability to move would allow. So my conclusion is that she is up there for others to enjoy. Consider the view of the soldier and his comrades; there can be no doubt as what they can see.

There are more pictures to this essay but I wouldn't want to make this posting so big that it might be rejected so more later (ie: Today to tomorrow.)
Enjoy,
Helmut
I rather like 403.Yes, those close-ups are very vivid, Executioner's-eye-views,
and #7's pretty well a victim's-eye-view, a very effective composition.
I do realyEnjoy,
The picture I’m posting here has been around for some time, and she last appears in the series I did on the victim’s perspective.
The enforced exertion required to pull an oar makes these slave girls look sexy even though I doubt they would feel sexy.
The next two images are remakes, the scene might be familiar and it happens to be a personal favorite, but the seascape is new. What do you think?
I thought you were going to say it was when you were in the army, HelmutI enjoyed archery when I was younger, taught it too; where I live it is necessary to demonstrate competency with bow and arrow before an archery hunting license can be issued.
And a very happy Christmas season to you too -
That second one is SOOOO exciting for me!I doubt that I've done this before; I thought of two pictures after the fact. Just different points of view and for the second on I hitched a ride with Icarus; the be sure I used Crazy-glue on his wing first.

And a very happy Christmas season to you too -
so nice to be the slavegirl kneeling under the tree
Just too lovely! My sort of rowing i think!!!Yes, pk, you need to look back on Helmut's Thread to the great days of his galley cruising with Admi -
Connie was their first galley-slave, then this girl came along, and you should certainly be rowing with us!

She's lovely - I wish I was her.I’m seeing a lot of “gif” images here of late thanks to TC and others. I began working on a crucifixion back around 2011 or 2012 but it wasn’t practical to present here because of the file size so I shelved it and forgot about it. It’s possible that the file is still too large but I’m going to give it a try.
If you view the image (It my take a few seconds to load.) you will likely notice that the figure technology is representative of that time frame.
Soon I hope to have a much newer version of a crux scene to present here but for now here’s the one I did back when…
Please let me know if you have a problem loading and viewing it.
Enjoy,
Helmut
