I wouldn't doubt the paper is worth more than the $1 bill. I bought printing for Southwestern Bell for more than 8 years from the mid-80s to the early 90s and it was expensive then (it was and I hear still is used for executive stationary). Only 2 print shops in St. Louis would touch it as they would get random visits from the US Secret Service (in addition to our presidents they were the overseers of money) and the shops had account for every ream of it adding to the cost of the finished stationery!!!Thanks for that tip, Tree - the choice of Founding Fathers, English royalty and U.S. presidents, eh?
Well, not sure about those - it depends which of the FFs, English royals and US presidents,
some of them have had reasonable taste, a few could even wield a pen (Queen Vic for one).
The prices are pretty eye-watering (did you know your dollar bill is worth less than the paper it's printed on?) -
but certainly it looks serious high quality paper, I'll see if I can get some.
