An interesting idea arose of a mass non-traumatic crucifixion. In the USA, open-air movie theaters were popular in the sixties. What if we open a new Cruxinema cinema format? Instead of rows of chairs, the amphitheater is lined with crosses. The crosses are staggered so as not to interfere with the view. The crossbars are equipped with cuffs for the hands. The stools are equipped with toe loops to cause real pain during the "dance". Also, each cross is equipped with a cornu for sitting. The landing is carried out from the top row. You can offer different designs like frames or pivoting crossbars. But the simplest thing is to place each cross in an individual niche between the ledges in the next stage of the amphitheater and put a folding board on these two ledges. Person who want to watch the film from the cross stand on the boards, fix his or her hands in cuffs, flip the board with feet and place thumbs in loops. For the reverse procedure, a foot pedal is provided that lifts the folding board. Sessions can be both European and American, 90 and 120 minutes respectively, and they usually alternate. The ticket is valid for one visit, so for movie lovers, the crucifixion can last several sessions. The break between sessions is half an hour. During the break, the slave girls treat the crucified spectators with drinks. The main repertoire consists of erotic films with a complex plot, filled with romance and adventure, such as "The Last Temptation of Magdalene", "The Queen and Rebel", "Roman Holidays", "Night at the museum", "Night with Cleopatra" etc. It's very romantic to ask a girl out on a date at Cruxinema! You can recall the characters in Bernardo Bertolucci's film "The Dreamers" In the first scene, the main character handcuffs herself to the Paris cinematheque, protesting against its closure. Three young film lovers would certainly enjoy spending the whole day at Cruxinema if they had the opportunity.
