Praefectus Praetorio
R.I.P. Brother of the Quill
I was going to make a comment about girls on crosses complaining, but still sore from an earlier observation concerning someone's driving skills. You have something against complaining?

I will be back. I just need to be able to sit a while while working on three different stories.Wise choice ... someone who learns from experience ... you should be commended.
I just didn't soften that layer sufficiently. The higher the resolution, the more of these flaws will appear. That's why most art museums don't let you get that close to the work...
Fixed it again.Good Lord Jas! What happened to her eye?!
Fixed it again.
Tuesday, November 13, 2018–Day 316. Here’s one from 2012 called "Cross Torment". In a dark dungeon chamber, lit only by flickering fire light, a crucified woman is too exhausted to scream. She can only suffer and moan...and pray for death..."
Wednesday, November 14, 2018–Day 317. Here’s a 2011 rendering called "Dungeon Cropped". As I’ve said before, ‘Bad things happen in dungeons...’ To her, at least. I expect he’ll be enjoying himself for some time or at least until its time to take her to her cross...
actually, a crucifixa's eyes would be all too likely to be a source of further agony -Good Lord Jas! What happened to her eye?!
I agree with Willowfall about the strange things that pain can do to the workings of the brain -Julianna looks cheerful and quite calm, and her friend looks downright euphoric. Two more questions spring unbidden to mind: what were they smoking, and where can I get some?
Friday, November 16, 2018–Day 319. Here’s an evolution of a rendering. Over on Crux Foundation in 2014 there was a bit of a nasty dust-up amongst a couple of members over the Crown of Thrones and it seemed to be building in intensity. Frankly at this point, I don’t know what all the fuss was about but I decided to post something to try and defuse the situation. The first rendering, "The Clown of Thorns" was the result. (Who doesn’t find clowns a little creepy?) Several folks appreciated the humor of the rendering but wished I could do a non-joke version of it so I produced a corrected, non-joke version of it. And then Apostate asked if I could turn it into a more realistic rendering with blood, whip-marks and some leering onlookers. The third rendering is the final result.
And now I’ll never, ever unsee this.

I wonder what the conversation is about! The third rendering is the final result.
