I've heard that if you hang enough weights from their ankles when they ride the wooden horse, this will also negate their magical powers...or suspend them by their ankles when they're flogged....

In the meantime, Ciri collapsed over the splitting edge. Seeing her almost unconscious, Radovid has ordered to support her heavy yoke with chains hanging from the ceiling. Brought again in a more or less vertical position over the donkey, Ciri is asked again for a confession. Hazed by pain, barely understading what's asked of her, nonetheless she still summons the energy to shake her head weakly.
"Begin working on her back!"

I love how she s forced to sit up straight...presenting her bare back...and front for the lash. And she still is wearing those incredibly heavy weights.

At least she was spared sawteeth on the horse's apex...

Made even worse by it being carried out as she rides the horse...far worse than a "mere" flogging in the stocks.

Perhaps the whipping that might be worse than these two would be for them to be suspended by their heels and flogged directly between their widespread thighs...made worst of all if preceded by a long ride astride the horse like Ciri's.

One hour later, after a couple of syncopes, Cirilla hears Radovid grumbling. "Dammit, I was hoping to lay with the wench till morning, too bad about them tits ... when Dijkstra will finish with her there's be little left to fondle". And then continues "Maybe some lashes on the front will make her more amenable?"
"Go to hell!"
After a few seconds to change position, the whips started their music once again.
"I'm afraid Your Majesty that only the pear will unclench her mouth" dared say Dijstra, the master spy and occasional torturer. "Too bad she'll be spoiled beyond any use after that".
"Do it. I don't have the whole evening for one petulent child ..."
"Should we heat it to speed up the interrogation?"
"I only care for results, my faithful."
"Go to hell!"

I assume they realize that to unclench her mouth, the pear needs to be inserted in a different orifice.... I'm looking forward to seeing what position she'll be placed in when the pear is utilized.... obviously she'll need to be dismounted from her perch....a very temporary respite...

You are doing a fantastic job!!! The artwork is incredible and the plot just keeps getting better. I feel like you've been reading my mind with your portrayals of the wooden horse in use.

I'm happy with the JD graphics too. I hope that Ciri will faint and should be wake up by bucket of cold water. It would be great if girls after torture had a chance to meet and carry their wounds.

Glad you like them. I'm interesting in all medieval things. I make the illustrations on the fly, usually based on feedback. Therefore, despite the fact that I was about to wrap it up, due to your contagious enthusiasm for redheads on horses, I'll add a couple of illustrations with Triss on the ride.
Same as above. I'll squeeze an after-party images ... actually I love the 'post-production' imagery, showing the exhausted victims. This weekend, hopefully. Now I need to continue the story, the way Lord Ludwig suggested. A good suggestion, at that.
