I was always curious what source has Kindinov. There's interesting question with the scaffold: it was typically used for capital punishment, judicial flogging was rather on ground level. Prangers in middle Europe weren't over this level... and there's a lot of pictures showing judicial punishment but on the ground level even if there was wooden post as pranger. But kindinov show always big knowledge so I would like to know his resources.
