Well, I could delete this post, or I could leave it here to show that you Dazza can't tell the difference between forum moderators and people who write code for Xenforo. Also that you can't tell the difference between raising an issue with the moderators asking for help, and spraying random insults around. Please regard this as a warning.

As I said to Karen earlier, I really don't care
Deleting it is the general form on here phelbas. You mean that last guy I answered is responsible for this abortion? The guy who tried to tell me what a thumbnail should look like? Aha "a software expert" dontchano Dazza.
Though consider my point. All of you please. To pretend this is an improvement is remarkably dishonest, you appear to have been taken in by this clown

And well deserved. When issues arise, there is a proper way to seek assistance from staff. Simply PM any of us.

Also please note, everyone, that when posting thumbnails, once you have attached the file you must click on “insert” and then on “thumbnail”. These commands appear in the upper left hand corner of the image prior to posting. Doing so will produce a clear thumbnail image once you post.
 
And just to reiterate Phlebas' point, the moderators do not set up or choose the technical environment, that is set by Xenforo and we just do our best with the result, which imho is nowhere near as bad as had been suggested in these posts.

I know that, as far as I'm concerned, I'm going to click on Dazza's icon, then click on "Ignore."
Voila! No more Dazza (for me, at least).
 
As Wragg noted, this has nothing to do with the staff here anyway, but with the Xenforo software upgrades (whether one thinks they are an improvement or not). Calling us names is just annoying the people who are trying to figure out how to help you make things better.

And since I also have my own opinion on this subject, I'm going to come out of my reserve to give it.
We worked hard, dazza and I, for all these stories and sharing them with you has been a pleasure for us and for you too, I'm sure. I'm obviously in solidarity with Dazza regarding the previous stories and the thumbnails of images that have suddenly become very blurry, a thumbnail is used to get an idea of the photo that will be displayed if you click on it, we agree on that.
I also know that it is not the moderators who are responsible for this disaster because, let's face it, it's a disaster but I don't understand how the designer of this forum accepted that. I very much hope that this situation will be resolved favorably for everyone. In the meantime, and even if I understood the new instructions, I will not publish on this forum anymore, the end of Yvanna's story is on TDS for those who are registered there too and a link "Médiafire" will soon be published on this same forum.
I'm really sorry for this situation but as revolted as Dazza, I just say it with other words than him.
I hope that my text has been well translated because I am French-speaking as you know.

Thank you Laetitia for expressing your concerns. You and Dazza have always been welcome here and we have all enjoyed and valued your very popular illustrated stories.

But, it’s important to understand that periodic updates are done by Xenforo, not by the CruxForums staff, and invariably issues occur with them that neither the owner or the staff can foresee or are even given an opportunity to check beforehand. We discover them as everyone else does, and then have to find a workaround or issue new directions to our members as to how to fix these issues.

The sudden fuzzy rendering of images is one of these things and solutions and workarounds are already emerging.

In our rules, however, we will not, for the good of our community, tolerate from anyone, verbal abuse of the kind Dazza dished out to our staff yesterday.

I sincerely hope he realizes that now and will return to us. And I hope that you will not leave, as we will all benefit from the cleaning up of your images so they are no longer fuzzy, and by the continuation of your story postings here on CruxForums.

On 31st October all he has to do is publish an apology to the Admin team on this thread. No excuses, just a simple straightforward and honest apology.

I am only half irish so I am only half as stubborn Laetitia! I like what you and Dazza put together and I how that all see sense in this dispuit.
I also saw the next thumbnails but was more amused or intriged by them then annoyed!

Do I have to use thumbnails? I like to see how many visitors actually view the pics I post.
It not only pleases me, but encourages me to keep posting!
