I've converted stuff And I can't tell the difference if you use the maximum quality setting, which for some reason or other is "12", on Photoshop and other photo stuff like that.
Where the JPG lets you down, is if you save at the default quality of "8". Which a lot of programs offer for some reason. You have to think on, to push it up to "12".

Here is one of your images in 3 forms. The original PNG (2.8M), a JPG exported by GIMP at the default 90/100 quality (0.46M), and a JPG exported by GIMP at 99/100 quality (1.3M).

They look the same to me, and for those of us who download a large number of images (e.g. because we enjoy your work!) it saves our time and the site's bandwidth usage if the files are 6 times smaller!

Thanks Hangnail.
I've taken your advice on board. Though I have to say, I take exception to the reduction in quality the further down the scale you go.
Re - my comments about the evaporating pool of piss, (in this story/ post a while ago).

Indeed this story, whilst it was made in the DAZ default PNG mode. It was designed to be viewed in small but high quality JPG files, for the speed and convenience of the viewer.
I had designed all the sets used here, with that aim, specifically in mind.
I had discussed this "engineering aim", with my partner, on this story, Laetitia. Though for one reason or another, Possibly Google Translate.
I have sadly failed to get the message across.
Indeed I was personally very disappointed, at the download speeds, I had, checking the story on here. Viewers were meant to have access to high quality pictures, as fast as possible.
I would add, I live in a sparsely populated rural area and only have access to wireless broadband.
Never mind - It is what it is - unfortunately.

Please accept my apologies.

The only way I can see of overcoming this difficulty, in future, is to broadcast all my future work in JPG.
