I can remember a time when the member birthdays were announced on the front page - whatever happened to that important functionality?

It would have been in one of the re-stylings of the XenForo site template. I think there was increasing caution over putting personal information about members onto the homepage, or otherwise easily accessible to anyone who finds the site.
