I feel strange giving your post a "like" because it is very sad news. I love the blues and BB King was a favorite, along with the great Howlin' Wolf. I have many albums of BB King, and love them all. The blues just got a little bluerBB King dead, 89, in Las Vegas....the undisputed King of the Blues.
BB King, whose scorching guitar licks and heartfelt vocals made him the idol of generations of musicians and fans while earning him the nickname 'King of the Blues', has died aged 89.

Pp hopes that the latest version of his trademark Gibson guitar, all of which were called Lucille, was not too far away. Pp has his copy of the album BB King recorded with Eric Clapton called Riding With The King playing right now.

I am going to put on some BB King right now, pour me some Maker's Mark Kentucky Bourbon Whisky, and raise my glass to the king!Lucille -
Pp did so with some single malt last night and will do so again tonight. Too much BB King in his collection not to extend out the grieving. process.I am going to put on some BB King right now, pour me some Maker's Mark Kentucky Bourbon Whisky, and raise my glass to the king!
I just recently found out why Maker's Mark spelled Whisky without the "E". The family that founded Maker's Mark, and still runs the show, were from Scotland, and they spell whisky without the "e" in Scotland. Maker's is by far the best whisky made in the USA. They just introduced a new product, Cask Strength, the proof is between 108-114, depending on what batch it is from. Mine is 111.6. Only the best for toasting BB King tonight!
I also might need a few days to play all my BB King.Pp did so with some single malt last night and will do so again tonight. Too much BB King in his collection not to extend out the grieving. process.
