My Crucifixion

I recall several years ago on a crux yahoo site (I forget what it was called), the predecessor to yahoo groups, a member held something like you describe in the southern united states where he had property in a rural part of the state. I remember several pictures, a few still floating around on the net.

It looked like and unbelievable event. He had several types of crosses, floggings prior to the crucifixions, the carrying of crosses. Some of the whippings looked like they were pretty realistic from the marks left on the victims on the crosses.

I recall one picture where the victim was hung upside down during the flogging. It may have been pre digital camera.

Does anyone recall the event?

I am quite pleasantly surprised by that. I guess I shouldn't have worried about it so much. But, I certainly did worry about it. And, it's still a goal of mine to get better and flaccid photos. Hopefully, somehow, someday.... I think there are many reasons for that, and not that I'm not sincerely grateful for the acceptance of having shared here what I did, without, so far, a single negative word (about that particular detail, at least). Grateful and humbled by it, I must say. So far, I've talked with other people about the idea and helping me make it happen, but that seems to be all it ends up, is talk. But, we're still talking, so who knows..... (and, I have yet another individual recently that has been talking without me about it a lot lately, seemingly quite seriously - we'll see - scheduling is always yet another giant problem, for anything that involves me for sure)

It certainly is. And, curiously, along the way in my search, I've had more people express interest in watching me be crucified than in helping me do it. I'm not sure why that is, or if they'd be serious enough to actually show up, but an audience could be interesting too, should everything (or maybe anything) ever actually come together for such an event.

Well, both of the individuals that have been talking with me fairly serious about potentially helping me have been on the basis that I also crucify them, and you know, I think I like that idea too (and although both have already said I could not share photos, which I understand and would absolutely respect)..

I did it. I actually did it. (I suppose yes, that suggests some shock, and for several reason). And, I just did it a few hours ago.

I did it without any footrest and without any upper arm rope. I didn't do it for long. I did find new respect for others that have done it. I think the attached photo, which was the last before my helper knew I needed to come down, tells part of the story visually better than I could with words. I said it was "intense" before. This was so far beyond that as to be mostly defying words for me at the moment anyway (And not that it's stopping me from typing some anyway, obviously ;).

It was interesting finding help as it was a case of crucifying each other, and for several reasons he did better than me. I don't have permission to share the photos I took of him, however - at least not yet. I was kind of glad that as it turned out we played a game to see who went first and it was him. I think that helped me, but still didn't fully prepare me. Done this way, at least, it is torture, that's for.

And, since I was asked before, we did do a bit more "play" before it, in the sense that I was marched out to my cross stripped and handcuffed. An experience to be sure. I wish I'd had more than a sucky camera. Which might mean I have to try again, but oh boy do I know I'm in for it if I do.

I wonder if I should start my own post/thread) rather than continuing to squat on Ulf's (for whom my respect grows deeper after what happened to me today - and he had my respect before).

Excellent! Well done Wayne. Now you see what I mean, it is so much more powerful, so much more intense. And the picture is so much more striking, with that tension in arms and body, that endurance etched in your face.
A transformational experience.
The set up with your feet looks rather uncomfortable, with the ropes around your lower legs like that. How did that work out? Did it cut off circulation?

Thanks, and yes I do know. And yes the ankles/lower legs were problematic and the most noticeable so afterwards, and still today...

Probably the body needs urgently more blood and water elsewhere, when the body is suffering the stress of hanging to a cross? Does the stressfull situation urge the body to 'retract' the genitals to protect them better?

Whatever, for the condemned this bodily process is likely a source of humiliation.
