Today I present to you an off-topic drawing of mine (it is not of the "Convent" but in reality it is a separate drawing) and it deals with the terrible execution of a woman real character who lived in ancient Rome and died killed in the arena. His name is Lucusta (or Locusta) and was a woman slave of Gallic origins. Under Claudius, Agrippina and Nerone, her skill as a poisoner made her powerful and untouchable, and it was she who poisoned many nobles and enemies of the emperors. After Nerone’s suicide, in 69 AC having lost imperial protection, she was put to death and a terrible punishment was devised for her: she was led naked - always under whippings - into the Arena and there she was tied to a specially made gallows, where she was raped. She was killed by a male giraffe who disembowelled her with his large member. Her body was then fed to other ferocious beasts. All that remains of her is the memory of the torture and the fact that she was the first serial killer in history

Yes they were capable of terrible things with remarkable stage taste. However, the story is true, even if there is some legitimate doubt about the torture of raping the giraffe. After the certainly devastating rape, still alive or at least half dead, she was fed to the lions.
