Hi you all. I´m a newbie on cruxforums. I´m from the second-biggest town of the world (during the rule of Rome;) )
Guess I will need a lot of time to go through all those forums. The first I read was danielle926 suffering on the cross. A dream...:)

Hey All,

I am from northern Bavaria Germany and I like Cruxforums very much but not all of it. Things that can cause death or bodily harm is nothing for me. I am more a fan of erotic hanging, some tying torture like in the medieval and of course the torture rack. When the lady is fixed on the rack or hanging on the hook and she is crying for mercy, their breast and stomach is going up and down very close before she passes out, the tongue between her legs will not stop instead her legs got spread wider and wider... Sorry I must stop.

Second biggest city during the Empire? Hm...
Well, estimates vary & it's all sort of guess work & the numbers changed during the 500 years of the Western Empire. But...
The second biggest city in the world was probably Chang'an (Xian), China at between 250,000 & 500,000 during the first century CE. Within the Empire, Alexandria, Ephesis & Athens may have had around 250,000. Seleucia, the capital of the rival Seleucid Empire, located near modern Baghdad, may have been about the same size.
Sorry, Brits, London barely counts. It was just a little trading settlement on the Thames. The provincial capital was at Colchester.
 
I meant the second-biggest town in the "known" world - will say: the world that Rome ruled. It was Treverum. Todays name is Trier. Tourists come to see the famous "Porta Nigra", a big leftover building of the romans.
Guess what I fantasized so many times when I walked by... ;) (there were crucifixion in those big Arenas at the time of Rome...)
