More News From Margot

There's a bit of a frenzy going on in our end. Amy is terribly busy preparing to start shooting Rucker in a few days, while Jac is cutting Crux Extrema I, getting ready to start shooting Crux Extrema II and revising the script for Casa De Fieras (Menagerie) There are other scripts in development as well, maybe some other script may get the green light ahead of the rest.

At the same time, all systems are GO for the theatrical release of Amy's film Pygmalion, which includes working on the trailers, key art, (for the posters) and all the promotion work which will be in full throttle in a few days. There will be a lot of TV exposure in the coming weeks.

PygmalionVidCap01083710.jpg

Diceman @Reine Margot I know your involvement here is business, but it would be nice to see you post more - you write some funny and interesting shit. I'm a fiend for Indie horror, and believe/hope that a shining new era is coming regarding its production. Will be watching out for the Trucker film...

I promote our productions, with an emphasis on what we have in the works. Right now my interest is in getting Monxa Mala and our other films promoted. You'll be hearing a lot about >Pygmalion, in the near future, as well as the projects that are keeping Jac busy these days, the films he's doing with Dani, Crux Extrema, three intense sexy films where she suffers all kinds of extreme torture.

CruxExtremaSc02Tk25_0144_00115115.jpg

Ed One of the biggest complaints about Jac's latest Monxa efforts are that he has forgotten his audience trying to be an auteur. An artiste. At the risk of offending, we don't want art. We want open graphic naked-woman-whipped sadism. THAT is what will sell to us. Figure it out. I haven't bought anything since you got "artistic." I would rather have Poor Gabrielle", with genuine screaming, that what you are making now. Perhaps just me--likely considering the volume of comments--but please, please, just stick to well-lit sexual torture. It's not like you will be up for an Oscar or Palm d'Or.

Jac began working in films in 1977, when he did a film to graduate from film school. He worked at CBS after finishing college, and later with a NYC advertising company. In 1981 he began his Indie career with a famous documentary that made him go around the world. That's over 4 decades of work, all kinds of work, with big and small companies. He's not 'trying' to be artiste, he already is a very well known artist. And no one will be offended by a comment.

I don't really know what you mean by well-lit. All the films are lit in a certain way and they are not that different from when Jac started the Red Feline line of films, with Red Feline On The Cross. Jac prefers the Ciaro Oscuro style of lighting. If you watch that first film and Monxa Mala[, the big difference is the budget and the equipment used.

rfoctor07promo043.jpg

No one is obligated to buy our films and we're very happy with those who do, whether it is the individuals who pay 20 or 30 bucks for a copy of a film, or those who buy the rights to show it on a movie theatre or TV.

There's a lot of talk about what Jac used to do and what he does now, and I really don't understand the point some people are trying to make. But it doesn't really matter. I think at this moment in time, what's more important for us is to enjoy our work and get it out there. We are very confident that each film finds its audience.

A Commentary on Monxa Mala: Some Final Comments

by Rich Moreland,

Unlike previous Jac Avila films, there is not much total nudity in Monxa Mala. For some viewers, this will be disappointing. Only Barbara and Julia get down to complete exposure. The others rely on loin cloths when the action gets rough. From my experience writing in the film industry, directors rarely push actresses to nudity if they are not amenable to that. Respecting boundaries is paramount.

MaleficarumMonxaMalaTheFilm_01020512.jpg

If you are a fan of a girl bound and bare, watch the scenes with Barbara on the wheel . . .

. . . and Julia on the ladder. They are worth the price of the film.

MaleficarumMonxaMalaTheFilm_01051002.jpg

By the way, Daniela Borda and Simonne de la Riva are stars in the making. Both are “hot,” to use a sexually charged term, and their acting is quite good. Daniela has an earthiness and Simonne an air of sophistication that offer contrasting interpretations of what BDSM sexuality is about. Here’s hoping for more of both soon.

MaleficarumMonxaMalaTheFilm_00593221.jpg

Also, Graciela Tamayo and Ines Copa represent a counter-balance to the Father’s debauchery. They are guiding figures whose presence reminds to viewer of the goodness that the Church offers.

As for Mila Joya, this reviewer admits he has an enduring affection for her portrayal of tortured victims in Pachamama/Decadent Films. She has a rich and sensuous resume to her name. Mila is superb with a quiet, gentle demeanor and a willingness to suffer for her art. Not only is this demure sweetheart talented, but she fills the screen with a body to die for. Don’t take my word for Mila’s commanding presence on-screen.

Check out two previous Jac Avila films that feature her solitary suffering in the chamber of pain. They are Le Marquis de la Croix (reviewed on this blog: April 29-May 5, 2017) and her newest offering, Mila a la Croix.

CruxMila_CR0387_00005702.jpg

In conclusion, no commentary on a Pachamama/Decadent production is complete without a final mention of Amy Hesketh. As referenced in Part One, she’s not cast in this film but her presence is evident in the story. And, of course, the whipping scenes carry her stamp. Amy is the standard for the visual feast that is Monxa Mala and deserves a special nod from all of us.

* * * After rigorous filming and lots of “torture,” the cast enjoys a well-deserved party. Congratulations on a cool and entertaining production!

The Rack and its possibilities

Last Monday, August 5th, Jac and Dani were busy setting up a new style of The Rack, which will be used to put poor Dani to the extremes in the next production of Crux Extrema II. After setting up, they went ahead and tried it, to see how uncomfortable and painful it can be and, at the same time, how safe. Safety is important in our world. Dani was very pleased, the pain and discomfort were bearable, to a point. She wondered how it would be with the heat from below and the lash from above.

CruxExtremaIITest_00064308.jpg

The new style rack is a combination of two different racks used so far. The classic one used to great effect in Maleficarum, Le Marquis and Monxa Mala, the one with a solid platform.

MMMV2Sc29_0055_00010115.jpg

And the one used in JUSTINE. A ladder type of rack, which is inspired in some pictures that lurk around in the internet.

JustineVidCaps00441513.jpg

The new rack won't be upright, but rather horizontal, the bars under the victim. It was used almost in this way in The Passion of Isabel, but slanted, not horizontal, and later on in the film was set up upright for some stretching and lashing.

PassionOfIsabelVidCap_00430009.jpg

The production of Crux Extrema II will start this week. While Jac and Dani get busy with their little movie, Amy is beginning production of her big movie Rucker. We're also very busy preparing the theatrical release of Pygmalion.

On the 'classic' Rack, when the victim is stretched, she's jerked up off whatever she's lying on,
solid or ladder, and part of the Torture is alternate stretching, dropping, suddenly stretching again?
And of course, whipping, burning, tearing can be applied to exacerbate the pain
in her strained body - all the more so on the ladder-style, where much of her back is exposed.

Of Crux Extrema I and Other News

CruxExtremaSc02Tk30_0157_00095703.jpg

The post production of Crux Extrema I is advancing a bit slower these days because of the many events that came up. Jac is busy giving interviews all over the place, appearing in newspaper magazines, one dedicated to Woodstock with a big picture of him from his hippie days.
https://www.paginasiete.bo/rascacielos/2019/8/18/new-york-sex-drugs-and-rock-and-roll-227563.html

He's also preparing to shoot Crux Extrema II and if that wasn't enough, preparing to release Pygmalion to the big screen. Apparently this trend will continue for the next few weeks, but once he's done with the Pygmalion materials, teasers, trailers and the DCP of the movie itself, he'll be back to the editing of Crux Extrema I .

Eulalia: On the 'classic' Rack, when the victim is stretched, she's jerked up off whatever she's lying on, solid or ladder, and part of the Torture is alternate stretching, dropping, suddenly stretching again? And of course, whipping, burning, tearing can be applied to exacerbate the pain in her strained body - all the more so on the ladder-style, where much of her back is exposed.

The ladder as a rack was used in a very creative way in JUSTINE . Amy's backside was exposed to the hot coals below her. Jac and Bea were the ones to stretch her, dropping her and stretching her again while Jac would use the whip on breasts and belly. Later, it was Bea's turn to be put to the rack. But before both of them, Mila was the one to suffer the rack with one additional element, her hands were attached to a crossbar.

JustineVidCaps00502000.jpg

A clip of Pygmalion was shown on TV for the first time, beginning what it will be a big campaign announcing the release of Amy's film. The release comes at the time when Amy is beginning to shoot her new film Rucker . The time is right for the release for many reasons, so it has to be done.

PygMakingOf3502_n.jpg

In the meantime, Monxa Mala is still bringing in the cash. The dramatic story of 6 novices in the hands of a mad monk is reaching its audience, which grows daily. Some say that no one here saw this, that's why there are no reviews, only negative comments from people who didn't see the movie. The fact is that hundreds upon hundreds ordered it. Most, if no all in our regular audience already have it. Monxa Mala will remain our best seller in the foreseeable future. Maybe when Crux Extrema I comes out Monxa Mala will go do second place, for a bit.

These Changing Times

Fantom0119.jpg

We're living a different time now, totally different from the days when Amy and Jac were working on a series of movies for the Red Feline Pictures line, like FANTOM. Those no budget, two person cast and crew movies that were, and sometimes are, the base upon which bigger things were and are built.

However, as different as things are now, they are also very much the same. Dani and Jac are working on a series of movies for the Red Feline line, like Crux Extrema while also working on bigger things, much bigger things.

Amy's film, Pygmalion, is getting ready for its theatrical release, but that's not the only preoccupation in Jac's or Amy's mind. Amy has now gone into production of her new film, Rucker, while Jac is looking into a big environmental film because things are happening so fast in how we're destroying the planet, that he is feeling the call, that almost divine call, to action.

Coroico2012_7540.jpg

It was not too long ago that Amy and Jac were traveling through the rain Forrest of Bolivia, to make a few documentaries and searching for locations for films. Those territories, full of fantastic vegetation, thousands of species of animals, birds and insects are now in danger of utter destruction by policies from the governments of Brazil and Bolivia, who have lost all respect for mother earth and life itself. The time to tell that story is now and he will be getting very busy with that herculean effort.
https://www.wired.com/story/the-horrifying-science-of-the-deforestation-fueling-amazon-fires/

PassionCam02Sc04Tk05_00260606.jpg

The new times, that began with that great film, The Passion of Isabel, a two person cast and crew film, has introduced new faces to our cast, like Bea, who is the star of The Passion, who was 'discovered' when she had a small role in Olalla, took a bigger role in Pygmalion, and an even bigger role in JUSTINE and was going to be the protagonist of Monxa Malabut other career opportunities took her away. It also introduced us to Dani, who is suffering a lot in Crux Extrema, is one of the protagonists of Monxa Mala and it looks like she has taken a very prominent role in our productions as she's going to be in a bunch of films. Other actresses that joined the cast were Simonne and Stephanie.

MMMV2Sc31_0075_00070429.jpg

The one consistent cast member who remains involved is Mila, who was with us from the moment those big production values movies began to be made, like Maleficarum, Le Marquis, Barbazul, Dead But Dreaming, Olalla , Justine and Pygmalion, 7 films in less than five years. She is the star of Mila À La Croix and she has a protagonist role in Monxa Mala. She'll be a leading lady in many movies in the near future.

But the times have changed, and as we move into other plans, like big documentaries and features, like Rucker and Casa De Fieras, we think that making more Red Feline productions like Crux Extrema, will continue for at least the coming year. After that, I cannot be sure.

Another change coming is that a lot of the movies we have will go into a streaming platform in the near future, replacing downloads and DVDs, along with many unreleased films that we have in our large catalogue like Double Cross.

We're working on that now. Downloads and DVDs, will go the way VHS tapes went. These are changing times, indeed.

The New Times meet The Old

CruxExtremaSc02Tk25_0144_00091226.jpg

Crux Extrema I is back on the editing table while Pygmalion got a postponement because a sudden film festival invitation opened up a new set of possibilities for a bigger promotion, but the postponement is only for a few weeks, the release is still on the works but with more going into it.

In Crux Extrema I the new meets the old. A contemporary story with medieval elements, which makes it a very intriguing movie to watch... unless of course you have an aversion to Tattoos, which will make this film unwatchable for you regardless of how extremely hot it is.

Dani goes through a lot of exciting things, she says they are very exciting for her, even if they are very painful, extremely uncomfortable, absolutely medieval, pretty weird, and so on. She gets beaten, whipped, scourged, pricked and beaten and whipped and scourged some more. All of it on top of the wheel's rim. It's interesting to see that Jac has Dani in many different positions and situations on the same devilish apparatus of pain. This is the first movie in the three part series Crux Extrema. Three different stories all with a beginning, an end and a unique plot.

The plan is to release the first one at the end of September. A second one is going into production next week and not too much later the third and final one. The second and third films should be in the can and in post production by the end of September.

After that production work is done, a new series of feature films will begin, more mainstream films, like Casa de Fieras (Menagerie) based on Jekyll and Hyde, and another De Sade inspired story La Femme De Chambre. In the meantime, and before September is over, Amy will be done with the production of her new film, Rucker. I got word that for the next few weeks Amy will be unavailable... I know she'll do an amazing job, and we'll be anxiously waiting to hear from her.

And we can't forget Monxa Mala, our number one bestseller still, which will continue to reign for at least two more months.

MMMV2Sc30_0010_00045703.jpg

Ralphus I love it! It's Margot! Reine Margot herself, the film historian with the big brain who finally decides to join us. Congratulations, you're exactly the type of person who would know a film like this. You should play trivia with us again, I know you'd be good at it.

I'll be happy to play trivia once in a while, if I know the film in question.

Lucio Fulci was an early inspiration to Jac, after he saw a couple of his movies way back in the late sixties, early seventies, one of those movies was Una lucertola con la pelle di donna (Lizard in a woman skin) from 1971 where there's a lot of nudity and lesbian sex. But one that hit the mark for him was Beatrice Cenci, about a young Roman noblewoman who murdered her father, Count Francesco. This young woman was tortured and later beheaded. The title in English baffles me Conspiracy of Torture

[video=youtube_share;9hnYEmaz8Sc]

That Fulci film and Mario Bava's The Whip and The Body, with Christopher Lee, set the young impressionable filmmaker-to-be on the road to sadistic movies. Jac didn't care much for Fulci's later zombie movies. A couple of his westerns were also very cool.

I was first exposed to Fulci when I was in NY with Jac, we visited a VHS rental place and he got a copy of Demonia, he was intrigued by the cover and the description of crucified nuns. That was his thing, and I already got a taste of the whip and the cross. We even shot a couple of videos on VHS where I'm tortured and crucified.

But I'm digressing. Some Spaghetti Westerns and Italian horror films were truly ahead of their time in all GIMP matters and were a good source for inspiration. And of course, there were all those gladiator, Hercules, crucified chicks, afternoon at the movies extravaganza that Jac could not miss, even if he had to kill and then resurrect a fly to get the money for his ticket. True story.

When Jac first began to work with Camille, in what we now call The Via Crucis of Camille series, one scene of Beatrice Cenci sneaked into his head, perhaps unconsciously.

VCOC05_058.jpg

I got word that The Via Crucis of Camille series and other analogue films are now going though a process of getting upgraded into HD films to then go to a streaming platform. We're adjusting old productions to the new times. More news and comments later.

So glad to learn so much more top-shelf Pachamama entertainment is in the pipeline! Extremely satisfied with Monxa Mala & Passion of Isabel!!! :aplastao::aplastao::aplastao:

Still waiting for Seven Days on the Cross, Part 5, LOL -- perhaps a 10 or 15-minute salvage clip, just to 'close it out', for a loyal 20-year plus customer?:wave::wave:

PS: Tell Jac I bought Part 4, twice!

yes, the Wheel is indeed the perfect 'apparatus of pain' -
and Dani stretched naked on the rim,
exhausted by her torture, yet so obviously expecting more and worse,
is one of the most erotic images even in your wonderful films -

Ever since I first learnt as a youngster about St Catherine of Alexandria,
and began study the many different, ingenious ways medieval and renaissance artists imagined her Wheel might have worked,
I've fantasised about it (and not about destroying it miraculously, as she's supposed to have done!)
I made it the subject of a longish poem, here are a couple of extracts, you can read it all at

VI

“Turn, Catherine,
Turn and face
your Wheel of Death!”
See how I clutch my breast!
Frisson of terror as I shield soft flesh
from those cruel spikes?
Feeble attempt at self-defence?
Coy femininity?
Just gawky adolescent shame?
Or something else
have these men stirred in me …?

VII

“Your bum will suffer first and worst,”
the Executioner says, as he tugs the chain
between my thighs,
“your shoulders, back, and arms and legs,
they’ll all be forced against the spikes.
You’ll try to keep completely still –
but that of course we won’t allow:
with whips and red-hot irons my boys
are going to make you dance!”
He slaps my rump, orders his men
to fit the manacles –
“Make sure they’re tight!”
“And then the Wheel will start to spin,
tossing you back and forth and up and down
across those spikes,
tearing your flesh to ribbons, bit by bit,
till you're ripped to a bloody rag –
like this!”
He points.
The filthy scrap
tossed over the cross-bar –
knickers off some poor kid
they’ve slaughtered here,
picked up by the engineer
to wipe her blood off his machine.

XV

Commanded by the Executioner,
I turn my hips and walk compliantly,
feeling my hair blow free
in the cool evening breeze –
plants, rocks,
girl’s undies,
whips –
with one glance through the woodwork at the sky
I step up on the bloody stone,
and lift my shackled arms for them, prepared...

XVI

As they spreadeagle me
against the spikes,
I feel the hints of pain begin...
A dark cloud hides the sun.
‘I see Him as it were in a cloud’…
for still I need,
and at this crucial moment fail to find,
God’s reassurance.

XVII

I hear my yelp of pain
as they jerk tight the chains -
Ready.
The men pick up their whips and instruments
and stand appraising
my stretched, quivering girlhood
as they await the Executioner’s word...
“Begin!”

The New Comes In Full Force

CruxExtremaIITest_0172_00053518.jpg

Jac and Dani were busy the end of the week preparing to shoot Crux Extrema II, they will begin production this coming Monday and Mila agreed to appear in a cameo. At the same time arrangements are being made for the theatrical release and festival participation of Amy's Pygmalion. We haven't heard from her since she began the production ofRucker this past week. We don't expect to hear from her until the middle of the month. Rucker is practically a Road Movie, it means that she's traveling a lot because the location IS the highway.

Because of what happened during the shooting of Monxa Mala, when one principal cast member left the production, the need arose to think again on who's going to be in Casa de Fieras (Menagerie), the film based on Jekyll and Hyde. One leading actress is Dani, of course, Mila seems to be taken the female leading role on that one. The other De Sade inspired story about to be produced, La Femme De Chambre, will have Dani as the leading actress.

Eulalia Margot said: Dani goes through a lot of exciting things, she says they are very exciting for her, even if they are very painful, extremely uncomfortable, absolutely medieval, pretty weird, and so on. She gets beaten, whipped, scourged, pricked and beaten and whipped and scourged some more. All of it on top of the wheel's rim. Yes, the Wheel is indeed the perfect 'apparatus of pain' - and Dani stretched naked on the rim, exhausted by her torture, yes so obviously expecting more and worse, is one of the most erotic images even in your wonderful films -

That's exactly what I thought when I first saw that particular shot. It was extremely erotic and moving. Dani's tortures are not even half way done and she's already exhausted, hardly conscious, if at all, perhaps anticipating what is to come, which will a lot worse than what happened to her until that moment. That shot was captured in full 2K definition. It's awesome.

I mentioned before how the old is meeting the new. I also meant that as more films are produced, the difference shows a lot. Gone are the days of analogue video, that, in itself, had its charm. When we captured images back then, the frame size was 350 x 194 pixes. by the time we shot Martyr, in SD, the frame size was 720 x 410. We're shooting 2k now... and we'll start 4k soon. That's huge! And the quality of the image is amazing. And yet, there's something charming in those images from the past.

CruxExtremaSc02Tk15_0128_00020604.jpg

Diceman @Reine Margot But one that hit the mark for him was Beatrice Cenci, about a young Roman noblewoman who murdered her father, Count Francesco. This young woman was tortured and later beheaded. The title in English baffles me "Conspiracy of Torture"' Impeccable taste. English dubbed, and in some cases subbed, copies of these classics can be severely mangled, which is one of the reasons I think they've taken a back seat over time in some countries film studies. Of particular annoyance to me is Bava's 'Black Sabbath'; the English copy has the tales in the wrong order, and edits combined with dubbing slightly but significantly altered the story, so the whole vision of the film is muddied and less impactful. They were absolutely years ahead of their time in many ways, makeup also, and even some examples that have aged less gracefully still have style to them. I look forward to the new releases, tattoos or no. Should be passable in a modern setting...perhaps.

I remember seeing Black Sabbath on TV once, or was it a VHS? It doesn't matter. It was a nothing like the version that was shown in movie theaters way back. The awful ’edited to fit this screen’ message told the sad story that we were watching half of what the frame was intended to show, not to mention those shots or scenes that were taken out all together. And that's the sad reality of most of those films, including Conqueror Worm the one with Vincent Price. The VHS version that showed up in rental stores had all the good scenes out! Sad indeed.

Jac didn't need to see the trailer to go see that one. The poster that appeared back then had women on crosses and some hanging. The closest I could find to the version that appeared in SA is below.

Still waiting for Seven Days on the Cross, Part 5, LOL -- perhaps a 10 or 15-minute salvage clip, just to 'close it out', for a loyal 20-year plus customer? PS: Tell Jac I bought Part 4, twice!

The Seven Days On The Cross series was not completed as intended originally because it suffered the effects of the huge changes that came way back in 2003. Jac had completed the four parts of that series and had material for a fifth and final chapter in the story. But a few things happened then. The first, he entered a deal with a Dutch distributor for all of the films we produced until then, the one condition was for him to deliver the film in DVD format, something that was quickly replacing VHS tapes. He dedicated a long time to do exactly that, to convert all the films to DVD. It meant getting a new computer, new applications, DVD burner and, of course, learning the process of preparing and manufacturing DVDs. Once that was accomplished he had to make hundreds of DVDs from each film. It took a while, a loooong while.

While he was doing that he was also working on the post production of Nocturnia and The Death of St Eulalia. And if that wasn't enough, he moved out of the house where many of those films were shot. Too many changes. So he never got around to finish the series. By 2005 he was working in Bolivia in the NatGeo project, going to festivals with The Death of St Eulalia and he met Amy. The rest is history. All the new productions took center stage and Seven Days On The Cross stayed on the shelves. At one point Mila sat down to learn how to edit and Jac gave her the task to cut Seven Days On The Cross into an hour and a half movie, with an emphasis on the segment that was never released. She worked on that and it appeared that the job was finally done. But there were problems with sound. So it went back to the shelves. Jac is trying again. He has two projects on the editing table, Crux Extrema and Seven Days On The Cross. We'll see if he fares better now.

What's Going On?

MMMV2Sc25_0005_00014305.jpg

Another month flew by, really flew. I guess when people are busy, the relativity of time becomes all too obvious. While in the US people celebrate Labor Day, in Europe people return to work, and in the southern part of the world, spring begins to show its kind face.

I always keep track of how the films are doing on a monthly basis, some probably think it's like an obsession, but it's a lot more than that, it's a way of looking at the past to predict the future. For a fourth month in a row, Monxa Mala retains its best seller status, followed by Mila À La Croix on second place, Passion of Isabel on third, JUSTINE on fourth and Maleficarum on the fifth place. It's almost predictable at this point. We'll see how Crux Extrema will do upon its release, but I'm pretty sure it will take the lead for a few months, as all new titles do.

CruxExtrema_0111_00051719.jpg

Crux Extrema II did not go into production on Monday as planned. Instead, it will begin on Wednesday. Jac had meetings with the execs of the movie theaters where Pygmalion will be shown. The date of release has been set for October 31st. There will be an avant premiere on the 30th, with tons of guests and a party. The good old days of showing our movies in multiplexes are returning.

Amy is still off the grid with her film Rucker so she hasn't been told of the dates yet. When discussing possible dates and her possible attendance to the premiere, she mentioned that it takes two days for her to travel to these parts and two days to return. If she was coming over for a long period of time, that would be fine, but for just a couple of days, it is not. She will be in attendance via Video link.

Terminus I've been waiting for the conclusion of Seven Days for 16 years. A little longer won't kill me. Never thought I would ever see it anyway. I still have Part IV to go back to from time to time.

Working with Seven Days On The Cross can be difficult. I should say it is difficult. Although the editing itself is not the problem, all the shots are in place, the sound can be really a big deal. When it was first produced, it was easier to handle because it was the only editing work for months. All four episodes were nicely edited and all the sound problems were dealt with. That was years ago and everything is different now. It might take a bit of time to get it all done the way Jac wants it to be done. But it will be released, maybe sooner than later.

Moving On

CruxExtremaSc02Tk21_0140_00140326.jpg

The production of Crux Extrema II has officially began on Wednesday in a rather slow and relaxed way, the way Jac likes to work these days. Making a ton of movies had that effect on him. He no longer gets stressed out during production, unless third parties are creating the stress, which happens from time to time. But it gets easier when he's working with very few people, in this case three. Dani, Mila and himself. The second day will be only two people and it will remain like that for the rest of the production.

At the same time, the post production of Crux Extrema I is advancing. The footage is already in place and the selection of shots is going very fast. At last count, there are at least 3 hours and 20 minutes of footage to choose from. It was a lot more, but 15 min of film is already in rough cut, and another 30 minutes of screen time have already been selected. One hour and a half is still pre selected raw footage to be cut down. The idea is to have either an hour or a 90 minutes film, it will depend on how well the footage works.

CruxExtremaSc02Tk21_0140_00145010.jpg

Diceman @Reine Margot. Thanks for mentioning 'the Conqueror Worm' (UK title 'Witchfinder General'), it sent me down a most enjoyable rabbit hole. That and 'the Devils' were staples of my childhood, yet I never added it to my collection growing up as there were so many different edits and I wanted the most complete example. In a time where a brief internet search can make it possible, there's really no excuse. Good to read of your upcoming screenings, and I hope it brings greater opportunity for growth.

One film, very dear to Jac's heart, one that captured his imagination in those early sadistic pre adolescent days, was Angelique Et Le Sultan. The poster alone was enough to lure him in to the theatre where it was playing. That film is one of a three part series of films with beautiful Michele Mercier in the role of Angelique. A film very much ahead of its time, with great nudity shots and extremely playful. By the time Jac saw this film he had already decided that he wanted to make films. After seeing it he decided that it was the kind of film he would love to do.

angelique-et-le-sultan.jpg

Perhaps he was inspired by that film when he was shooting a very low budget, two person cast and crew, three part movie The Perils of Jane In The Green Inferno. There are some shot in that film that seem to come from some of those classic movies.

Crux Extrema, three intense movies on their way

CruxExtremaSc02Tk21_0140_00142322.jpg

Crux Extrema I is well ahead in its post production. The plan is to release it at the beginning of October. In the meantime, the production of Crux Extrema II resumes this week and it will go on for the next two weeks. Immediately after that Crux Extrema III will enter production for at least two weeks as well. Both films should be in the can the first week of October. I expect their release before the end of the year.

Ed Reine Margot: One film that captured his imagination in those early sadistic pre adolescent days, was Angelique Et Le Sultan. The poster alone was enough to lure him in to the theatre where it was playing. I didn't know this was a film--thought it was a book and the poster just a lurid cover. My fault as I was so focused on the scene that I didn't look at anything else. Here is a manipulation of that scene, a very early effort by my favorite artist, WillieMacJ

Angelique Et Le Sultan is one of a great three part series made in France in the late 60's, Jac has all three in a very handsome DVD set.

Jackie1111 Found this beautiful shot from the film you mentioned, Margot. How I love those whipmarks on her lovely bare back. Imagining how those whipmarks must feel makes me very hot.

angelique-sultan-bluray-04.jpg

I agree with that comment about the whip marks. It often happens in our films that a scene is set to show the moment after a whipping, in the case of JUSTINE, there's a scene where all three beautiful and sexy victims share a bed, bearing the marks of their floggings, while waiting for what will befall them next.

JustineVidCaps01004015.jpg

Jac will meet Simonne this week to discuss future projects, including a SyFy music video. There are other movies planned, like Casa De Fieras (Menagerie) which is in pre production, she will most likely have a leading role in that one. There's a plan to make an inquisition story with Simonne as the lone victim and there's also the possibility of an Agent X type of film with her as well. Simonne did a great job in Monxa Mala. We shall see what come out of that meeting.

Crux Extrema Strikes Hard

CruxExtremaSc02Tk30_0157_00200712.jpg

Crux Extrema I is turning out to be an extremely sexy and visually striking movie. As dramatic as it is, and as extreme in its content, it's also very playful. Dani and Jac had and obviously will have a lot of fun doing it and they can't wait to get into the nity gritty of Crux Extrema II and Crux Extrema III. However, there are some

CruxExtremaSc02Tk30_0157_00084824.jpg

Jac is very happy right now with the Extremely Low Budget or No Budget movies he's making with Dani, and maybe Mila and even Simonne, which is something similar to what Amy and Jac did when they produced many No Budget movies and at one point there was enough cash coming in to put it into big productions, three of them back to back, with exotic locations, big cast and crews, etc.

As I mentioned before, in the next few weeks the Crux Extrema movies will be all done, the first one will be released and the other two will be in the can. A new film, Agent Y, will be shot right after that, where there will be a suspension scene with Dani attached, arms spread wide open, to a crossbeam. She will be dangling and twisting in the air, suffering the whip, maybe with weights attached to her feet.

AgentX373.jpg

The way Jac will set things up for the suspension scene will make it possible to set up an X cross as well, perhaps that X cross will be used on Simonne on an inquisition story if she agrees to work in it.

There's also a plan to start uploading some videos to the club, once we are done setting them up on higher resolution and or processing them into HD clips, mainly a couple of Training of Camille, the Rehearsal for the Red Feline Faces the Inquisition, the tests for Monxa Mala, which are kind of fun to watch, and a couple of videos, like Double Cross, that were never released. There's a short video of the a Crucifixion with Veronique, it's short but interesting. If the powers that be learn that streaming videos is a good option for the company, they might put ALL of the films on a streaming platform of our own. Something like Netflix.

Working hard and loving it

CruxExtremaSc02Tk23_0142_00080811.jpg

The post production of Crux Extrema I is advancing nicely, the shooting of Crux Extrema II has three scenes in the can and a fourth scene is one third of the way there. The plans for more productions are well underway, Crux Extrema III and Agent Y are scheduled next and La Femme De Chambre right after those two, unless Simonne agrees to work on an Agent X style of film and the Inquisition movie Jac has in mind for her. We'll know if that is happening in about two weeks.

One thing that can help is if our funds grow enough to be able to get all those productions out and paying the suffering actresses. We always need funds to produce, of course, even NO BUDGET films cost money. That's one reason why we're increasing the potential of the Supporters Club where we will be streaming videos! Old, New, Future videos. Some videos will be permanently embedded in the site and sometimes we'll show one of our films in a Film Of The Week page. Maybe we'll have only a streaming platform for all our films. Maybe.

nardnob I'd give my left pinkie for the unreleased footage in your archives, Margot...

I'm certain that a lot of people would love to see the unreleased footage we have in our archives, lots of it. We will include Making Of clips from ALL the movies as well as bloopers, including some with comments from beautiful people like Camille and Amy. We'll stream the Casting videos, Scene Tests, TV interviews, public discussions and a lot more. We'll also stream some of the smaller films like The Via Crucis and Training of Camille and The Via Crucis of Jane and more. We'll be uploading one film at a time for the next few weeks.

Eulalia Margot said: a suspension scene with Dani attached, arms spread wide open, to a crossbeam. She will be dangling and twisting in the air, suffering the whip, maybe with weights attached to her feet. and enjoying every moment, I don't doubt!

Dani commented to Jac that even though is painful, uncomfortable and even scary, she truly enjoys the work. She comes up with some crazy ideas sometimes as well as some suggestions as how to approach a tough scene. At one point, when Jac was describing what he will do to her in a very sexy and cruel scene, she said I love my job! I'm loving this new film! She then proceeded to suggest what could make the scene even more difficult and painful.

CruxExtremaSc01Tk04_0165_00082325.jpg

We got word from Amy, she wrapped her new film, Rucker , this past Monday. I don't have any details yet, but I'm sure I'll be getting some pictures and news from her soon.

We're finally mastering the Rehearsal for the Red Feline Faces the Inquisition, the Training of Camille videos and the tests for Monxa Mala , I'll be talking about that on my next post. There are no plans to sell them in the store either as downloads or DVDs, there are a couple of people who will receive them, physically, but the rest will have to wait until they are streamed at the club.

I like very much her enthusiasm. And after seeing Maleficarum II I believe that she likes her job. A perfect symbiosis between the joy of the viewer and the heart put into the actor's work. Sweet kisses for Dani and words of support to make her tough and not give up.:abrazo:
