Speaking additionally of @Jastrow, he PM'd me earlier today and asked me reassure people who, like me, REALLY LIKE HIS STUFF!!!, that he actually is fine.

He's been through some harrowing medical related adventures, but now he’s not just fine but fit. About his fans he says:

Just tell them I am well, in good spirits, proud of what I did here over the years, but that I’ve moved on to other things

He also quoted Henry David Thoreau:

I left the woods for as good a reason as I went there. Perhaps it seemed to me that I had several more lives to live, and could not spare any more time for that one.

So this is as good a time as any to repost some more of his stuff from my personal stash.
