I like your take on the image Barb. I would just add that I think the ladies are offered a last drink of Seagrams, if they so choose:devil:

The obedient way they seem to behave : it looks like it is not the first time at all they got subjected to this procedure.

In fact the ladies belong to the same force as their handlers.
Always the same bunch that leaves the barracks without permission, to enjoy nightlife in town.
During a surprise inspection they were found missing. The officer on duty caught them while they tried to reenter.

They were immediately handed over to the camp police, who took firmly care of them.

They know what will happen to them for their breach of discipline : locked up in chains, naked, for a week, in the old mining tunnel.
And at the end, a public flogging in front of the whole unit.

But somehow, all that cannot hold them back to do it again. It won't be long before they will stand in that line again!:D
