When I was there a road used to go between the water and runway. The pavement is still there but it is for emergency vehicles only. Tons of videos on You Tube. look up 'Princess Julianne'... The airport, you pervert, not up her skirt!!!

I was enjoying some light Friday evening reading
...... reading about various medieval tortures, and came across....
The Knee Splitter.
Used frequently during the Spanish Inquisition, the knee splitter was used to split a victims knee. The device was built from two spiked wood blocks with a screw at the back, and was clamped on the front and back of the knee. Turning of the screw caused the knee to be painfully crippled. It was also used on elbows, and other parts of the body
