Bolton-Paul Defiant?
Incorrect !!
Go and stand in the corner, for you have failed basic Aircraft Identification. lol
(I've said what it is....mind you in terms of success rate it's up there with the equally fucking awful Defiant !!)

Fairey Battle!
Famous from failed bomb raids by the RAF and Belgian Air Force on the bridges over the Albert Canal captured by German glider troops early in the morning of May 10th 1940.
"Famous...."??
More like Infamous....
Mind you there was no denying the sheer suicidal bravery,of the poor sods, who'd bravely volunteered for those deadly missions, knowing full well that their chances of survival in those lumbering, overweight, underpowered, outdated, woefully inadequate aircraft was less than minus 10 per-cent !! :(
Messerschmitt-fodder,they called it....

And perhaps, worst, if they succeeded to dodge the flak, and managed to hit their target, their bombs were way too light to inflict damage to the bridges!

The box of the Airfix kit in the early 1970's :

As far as I recall, it was the only Airfix model to offer Belgian Air Force colours as an option.

Yeah I'm currently making the V.C. version of that particular kit,one of the, aircraft that participated in the suicidal bridges raid on Maastricht,12th. May 1940.
( I also made the original kit,as pictured,some 50 years ago....)

Negligent discharge  I bet someone got a bollocking when they were out of the public eye.

Negligent discharge? That can take many forms, and have many consequences,
loss of hat not being among the commonest! :p

I just learned that there has been female gladiators (gladiatrix) in Rome.
If anyone is interested in a german documentation about it:
Its only available today.
For all those with a vivid phantasy - it was nothing like on the pic below.

I once read a brilliant article in Mayfair magazine,(way way back when it was decent) about girl gladiators, and it was quite erotic,as well as factual.
