Even where I am in eastern Ontario, crucifixion would not be a lingering death in winter. The crucifixa would risk dying of hypothermia just carrying the patibulum, and crucifixion in a parka or overcoat lacks a certain something.

No wonder some of these alternative sports are paying good money and attracting young athletics away from traditional sports.
