Comment on photo number 1:
In the old days, the walls of Azkaban are made of large, yellow stones that are dirty. Each prisoner was locked up alone in a small cell. Chains hung on the walls, to which disobedient prisoners were tied. In each cell there was a small crack in the wall, which served as a window. The cells are also divided by bars. In Azkaban there are also numerous corridors. The conditions were harsh, there were no chairs, tables or any everyday objects
tattooing prisoners with numbers, there were extreme conditions on the prison grounds, physical and mental torture was a daily occurrence and the slow destruction of prisoners as well as mass graves of those who died in Azkaban. Visits to prisoners were very difficult, and food was miserable. And everything was guarded by dementors.
Currently, positive changes have taken place in the once notorious Azkaban. The dementors have disappeared and in their place appeared Aurors. Chains and torture disappeared, and tattooing of prisoners ceased. Multi-person cells appeared, and facilities were granted for visiting prisoners. The cells were equipped with chairs, tables, and other everyday objects, and a library also appeared. The building itself changed its appearance, ceasing to look gloomy and dreary, and the prisoners themselves were treated humanely.
Although our heroine in the photo never ended up in this prison, it is an example of the fact that this place changed its face.
