Ah, now I understand why the old regulations classified any drink with an alcohol content of less than 12% as water.

A really stupid idea

In the same category: How to sink a German U-boat (WW1).
a) needed : a motor boat, a hammer and a black hood.
b) approach the U-boat while it is on periscope depth.
c) put the hood over the periscope, blinding the U-boat.
d) crush the glass lenses of the U-boat with the hammer.
e) the blinded U-boat will dive away from an unrecognised danger.
f) once submerged, sea water will rush into the periscope tube and flood the U-boat, which will subsequently sink!
(seen some 50 years ago in a documentary about the sinking of RMS Lusitania)
