WHY?
I am completely stymied as to why two burly thugs (apparently thugs are always "burly") broke into Aniston's apartment and whisked her away to some dingy warehouse basement, where they are now giving her "the treatment".
If any of you have an explanation, I'd sure like to hear it...

Maybe there is no reason, and it's all just for 'fun'.

Soldiers of the Junta also raided campuses and rounded up student leaders who, unwisely, had spoken out against the coup. Nadezhda, who had been particularly outspoken, was the first to be arrested. Witnesses say they heard soldiers shout "Wider, bitch, spread'em wider"...
Top brass made it a point to be present during her interrogation.

SPIRITS
Sarah was a free-minded young woman who had been brought up deep in the forest by her grandmother who had taught her all about the spirit of the woods. She knew little about society, and rarely ventured out of the forest. When she did go to town, she unwittingly aroused people's curiosity, but that was all. All, that is, until things started going bad: you know, poor weather, crop failures and the like. From then on, it was suspicion, fear and anger that she aroused.
She now knows a little more about society, and is being taught about the spirit... of the Inquisition.

After her arrest by the Inquisition on the charge of witchcraft, Sarah was stripped naked, her head shorn and shaved and her mound and armpits depilated. This allowed the Inquisitors to thoroughly search every square inch of the distressed girl`s naked body for the Devil`s mark.
Annoyed by their obvious failure to find it, they are now resorting to more stressful methods to obtain a confession.

Evalina was in many ways a very good teacher, but alas, she often dressed quite immodestly, specially on warmer days. Apparently she was comfortable with her body to the point of being oblivious to the stirrings she aroused in those around her.

Of course, she didn't expect to stumble upon the criminals themselves. And they sure wanted to know why she was on their turf asking all these indiscreet questions...
