GRATIFYING HIS FAVORITE COURTESAN

Agata was the Emperor's favorite. She really knew how to please him and in return, he generously gratified her with gifts of fine cloth, jewelry and perfume. But lately she seemed distant and less than enthusiastic. The Emperor grew suspicious and sent out his spies to investigate. Sure enough, his favorite had a secret lover. Worse yet, a lowly plebeian! An unforgivable affront for which even death would not be punishment enough.

In his wrath, Agata's once generous Master is now about to "gratify" his once favorite courtesan with the most horrific of punishments.

Well, Zerns did just pop his head in and Senior Inquisitor said he was a fan. Though when SI snuffs a girl it tends to be a little less... offal heavy.

It's listed in the witches' and prisoner's Dungeon Guidebook, on page 3 I think................ "never complain about being thirsty... ever".

Agata obviously missed that part.

It's a bit before sunrise and already Frida is ... er, how might I put this?... "commuting" to work for her first day of hard labor. Tightly caged, of course, as stipulated in her sentence.

I have no idea how they managed to get her in there! Nor can I imagine how they're going to get her out... Does it matter?

After at least two weeks languishing in her cell, Agata was picked up - literally - by two burly guards and carried away in a most humiliating and undignified manner. Where were they taking her? What were they going to do to her?

Simply terrific.

One by one, over and over again, the palace guards had their way with Agata. And once they had finished with her, they proceeded, in accordance with the Emperor's orders, to punish the unfaithful courtesan in public!

As if Agata's public punishment weren't enough, the Emperor ordered that she then be handed over to the plebs, as retribution for having loved a plebeian. Will the poor courtesan's suffering ever end? (My guess is: nope!)

P.S. Concerning the second image, I inserted it thinking you might like to see more clearly what kind of contraption Agata's is shackled to. It has a morphing axle so as to position the victim at the desired angle.

The first image is out of this world. I hope your guess is correct.

Frida is led to her new work environment. Her guards remind her of her sentence, which they read out loud for all to hear: "Hard labour is specified as follows. You will perform menial, manual and strenuous physical work for not less than twelve hours a day, every day of the year, with no exceptions. Guards, overseers and wardens will punish you often, and severely, for the slightest hint of reluctance, using whips, electric prods and other motivational equipment. You will be worked in the nude, in chains, in public, in all weathers and in constant fear of the whip. Steel fetters will be permanently riveted around your wrists, ankles, waist and neck. Your hands will be chained behind your back at all times unless you are working, or restrained in some other fashion." (@montycrusto)
