I think that ropes can be involved in a crucifixion where you choose nails. It's either ropes or ropes and nails, not necessarily ropes or nails and no ropes at all. For me: after I have been heavily whipped, and wearing a crown of thorns and a tiny loincloth that covers nearly nothing, my cock sticks out through it. I would first want my upper arms tied to the horizontal and nails hammered through first my wrists then my hands. The horizontal to then be raised up to the vertical, my feet rest on a footrest, and then both legs are brought together, one crossed slightly over the other as high as my thighs, one foot ontop of the other and nailed to the footrest with a single nail. Crucified next to a woman or trans woman who is given the same crucifixion as me.

I personally think that nails make the crucifixion a pure one. Ropes only (in my opinion) is a merciful version of crucifixion from the more gruesome nails. But that is not intended to offend, it's just my opinion.
