A recent government report produced by the Department of Agriculture in Khabadami showed that over half the milk produced in the Kingdom now came from white slaves many of whom were ex sex slaves bought by enterprising dairy farmers keen to undo the damage caused by the goat flu. Even with a Government subsidy, milk slaves still cost money to keep and farmers were always thinking of cutting costs to maintain a healthy profit. The herd needed to be fed, the free breakfast at the mosque helped; the herd had to inspected regularly and with a large herd extra hands were often needed. Many farmers now trained their brightest slaves to basically run the farm. They were trained to milk each other, fetch and carry milk cans, bottle milk, churn it, turn it into cheese and whatever task they could manage. As a reward for good work they would probably receive an extra ration of milk for supper and NO whipping!
 
The Great Abu-Haro Show

For the first time in over fifty years goats would not be on show due to travel restrictions imposed since the outbreak of goat flu. Makki Hussain was disappointed as he fully expected one of his goats to take the gold medal for the third year in succession. However, all was not lost. A new category of milk slaves had been introduced to fill the gap. Makki had a small but very productive herd which surely would surely contain a top prize winner. He selected his two best cows, Alice and Betsy and ensured that they were well fed, watered and cleaned for a month before the big show. Manufactured additives or nutrients were not allowed in their feed but five times daily force feeding of natural man made fluids was permissible. Here we see one of Makki’s sons helping out by giving Alice her second course while another slave fills the milk buckets.
