Muse For Lost Stories

once broken, now healed, the moon in her eyes
taken down from the shelf of her solitude, lifted
a muse for lost stories of courage and blendings
and curious wanderings, over the sea
her slippers of grain, her dress of the leaves, her body
made of the clouds and sorghum
isn't this dizzy, faultful and scheming
braided, soothed and brought to the light
and she queries the rear compartment of suffering
the door yet ajar, allowing in just the few notes;
symphony
gathering of melodies and heartfelt
her curious, meanderings
moon in her eyes...
a muse for lost stories, poems and blendings
slippers of grain, a dress of the leaves
her body of clouds and sorghum
isn't this just so dizzy...
faultful and scheming, braided and soothed
sniffing the fine Autumn air, and
gathering color, rhymes and billow
curious, meanderings, melodies and heartfelt
door still ajar, allowing in a few small notes;
symphonies...
and is this not just so,
dizzy

LESBIA

Vivamus mea Lesbia, atque amemus,
rumoresque senum severiorum
omnes unius aestimemus assis!
soles occidere et redire possunt:
nobis cum semel occidit brevis lux,
nox est perpetua una dormienda.
da mi basia mille, deinde centum,
dein mille altera, dein secunda centum,
deinde usque altera mille, deinde centum.
dein, cum milia multa fecerimus,
conturbabimus illa, ne sciamus,
aut ne quis malus invidere possit,
cum tantum sciat esse basiorum.

Lesbia

We live, my Lesbia, and love,
the rumblings of the old too serious
evaluate all a penny!
The sun just go down and come back:
for us, when once the brief light sunsets,
There is one perpetual night to sleep.
Give me a thousand kisses, then a hundred,
More then a thousand, then another hundred,
then still another thousand, then a hundred.
Then, when we shall have made many thousands,
we will mix them for not knowing,
or because no one can envy the wicked,
knowing there so many kisses.

Lesbia

Viviamo, mia Lesbia, ed amiamo,
i brontolii dei vecchi troppo seri
valutiamoli tutti un asse!
I soli posson tramontare e ritornare:
per noi, quando una volta la breve luce tramonti,
c'è un'unica perpetua notte da dormire.
Dammi mille baci, poi cento,
poi mille altri, poi ancora cento,
poi sempre altri mille, poi cento.
Poi, quando ne avrem fatti molte migliaia,
li mescoleremo, per non sapere,
o perché nessun malvagio possa invidiarli,
sapendo esserci tanti baci.

You have a lovely voice.....:bdsm-heart:

Sharing a favourite bit of Lorca.... as this seems to be the time....

Malagueña

Death
enters and leaves
the tavern.
Black horses
and sinister people pass through
the deep pathways
of the guitar.
And there is a smell of salt
and of female blood
in the fevered tuberoses
of the seaside.
Death
enters and leaves,
and leaves and enters
the death
of the tavern.

Thank you very much for this beautiful poetry,
here a link for a song:
Cantus - La Luna and Malaguena from Suite de Lorca

Ravens From Your Hair

unleash the wings which bring you near the sun
if there was ever a moment in the quicksand of time, where your wax wouldn't melt
you might acquire the moon in every phase's untimely passing
but no hands appear to break your fall
and no glue can put you back together, and
there were never any bones held in reserve, to replace those no longer solid
once your body lay broken, crumpled and pale...
silly child, why chase the sun when the devastation you crave lies just beneath the breath of your sunrise
if ear was laid merely to ground, the thundering of approaching hooves to be heard
champion, to rescue the marrow from your shattered bones, approaches
as you slip to wounded knees in fevered thanks for the architect of your destruction
who releases the worms from your belly, the ravens from your hair and
the blood from your veins...
dance on legs of jelly
dance on thighs of sweet cream and festered mucous
dance with eyes sewn, ears sewed, lips sewn closed
see
hear
speak
no more...
silly child, dance on jellied supplication
release the worms, the ravens, the warm, thick blood
sewn
sewn
sewn
your cravings lie just beneath the breath of your eternal sunrise, throw yourself beneath the thundering hooves
the climax of shattered bones and acres upon acres
of blood
now unleash the wings that bring you near the sun
make the moon your servant and never, never
fall
eyes, ears, lips

dance

The Fates

O daughters
of Erebus,
and of the Night,
who spin
the thread
of life
The fruit
of youth
lasts
just a moment.
Soon [and]
it's already time
to pass
through the gates
of Hades.

Clotho holds the spindle,
Lachesis twists the thread
Atropos cuts it.
