SJ, that first Karen pic is really very special. Angle, narrow depth of field giving emphasis to the face, the exquisite expression capturing beauty, despair, hopelessness, resignation. The little touch with blood, and dirt.
Quite a picture.

The rear view Sophia is nice too (everyone has already praised the front view)
 
Both Karen and Sofia are perfect. So realistic. Mesmerizing. I agree with Phlebas - beauty, despair, hopelessness and resignation in both sets create an excellent atmosphere.

I already asked, for a previous crux pictures serie, if you enjoyed some black and white pics, but there, I choosed the colored one. But as this picture seems to have more success than I planned, so, I think it deserves these other versions to be posted! :p

They are superb! The original seems to picture Sophia hanging under a high, harsh sun.

The above has muted pastel colors, more like what you'd see late in the day, at dusk. Very somber.

The B&W shows incredible depth, much like older style B&W photos seem to show such incredible details due to the small grain size of the silver compounds forming the image. I don't how you made an already pic better, but you did!

Simply awesome SJ. Any more of this delectable lass? She may well achieve iconic status on this site!!!

we've had discussions in the past about blood or no blood,
I think you get it just right, quite enough to tell of the pain and cruel treatment,
but preserving - even sadistically enhancing - the beauty of your victim​

Her face shows she is hoping somethg with knowing that dont come. And tiredness in suffering too;)
U did well in face expressions too :)
Some Hairs passed through crown, so dtls, brilliant !
