I know Pichard is very popular and I love the torments he comes up with but I always found the way he drew the women detracted from the presentation to the point where I lost interest in his work. Strictly a matter of taste. I always thought there were other drawing artists who did a much better portrayal of the human female sp kind of wondered why he didn't since he obviously has talent.
I'd agree he would be considered a "Master" if his human portrayals were better, but otherwise, meh.

It's a matter of taste, of course.
In my opinion, Pichard is dedicated to drawing the real woman and not model women, young, thin and delicate like porcelain dolls. He draws the women in the street, our neighbors, our aunts, our teachers. Women with energy and beauty, who may not be in their best age anymore, but they remain beautiful.
It is a tribute to women. To all those forgotten women. Or at least that kind of woman.
