Slaves Treated Very Badly

After the harvest less slaves were needed on the farm. Slaves cost money to keep and money is tight in Winter. To solve this the numbers are reduced . The farmers wife calls this chopping day. Three of the household slaves had a shock today, after making the beds they were told to strip naked and join the six field slaves in the yard. Their white skins contrast with the slaves who work outside.
After all had been beheaded the carcasses were sold to a local butcher.

Slaves are cheap, the farmer will buy some more next spring.
