I have a slight preference for the first one, because :
1) it looks stronger with the distant background
2) it is at eye level with the crucified wife, so it carries out more stronger her rage.
That rage of her makes me wonder about the backstory. It could be that her sister's act would enrage her, which would draw her angry look to that sister's act.
