This was Apostate's fourth attempt to recreate The Agony Component thread. I would not be happy to see it hijacked for other discussions and arguments. There is now a thread under Announcements where people can make comments and suggestions about the newRules and Conditions. Pleasse..not here. The posts were not deleted by the KGB. I deleted them because they referred to the planning of a real crucifixion which is against the rules. I am not trying to dictate what people talk about.

@Shannon: I saw your post and while I don't support "supressing discussions", your post was rather an "anouncement" than "seeking advise", so I can see why it got pulled. It was kind of suggesting "it can e done safely", but it can not!

Damaged bone skin has a nasty potential for infections.
Nothing can control up front if important nerves are hit and damaged as well.
Just to name the two main concerns.
A doctor standing by will not change much on those facts, specially not on the nerves side of things!

Having said so, I think that the KGB comparision is misguided and an excuse is due.

I completely trust you and many forum members who are with us for a long time.
But my fear is aimed at those who are with us, either recently or came here by accident.
Thus, they can read your messages and hurt yourself.

But - peace of mind ;)
I am planning a special section for the elite, for experienced people.
There will be moved is particularly controversial and dangerous materials that could harm people unprepared.

Well, I don't tkink anybody can hurt me because of anything I wrote here, but dumbsters might hurt themselves...
Good idea with the special (section/s) that is/are open only to active people...

KGB? There is no issue of freedom of speech here. There is only one issue and that's the safety and well being of the site and that is not determined by some self appointed committee but rather by the people who pay the bills. Every site has rules, and reading the rules is usually a condition of membership when one attempts to join so get a grip on reality, remember you're an adult (At least we hope you are so please don't prove us wrong.) and enjoy. If you can't do that then....

Well, i wish to be crucified, I am drawn to the beauty of it and to show that i could be brave but with ropes, not nails or spikes..not for punishment not to be injured. I would only allow it was done by experts with my best interests and safety in mind...is that wrong?

Its hard to respond to something when i'm not sure what i'm allowed to say. Others have spoken about the same subject (in detail i might add) that evidently is no longer allowable. It seems to me as if the rules have been selectively enforced and perhaps retroactively enacted, thus the KGB comment. Melissa, and Imagemaker in their subsequent posts have been very gracious. It certainly did not seem that way originally and in the private post to me.

That said, of course i will abide by the forum's rules. If a space is allocated for discussion of certain topics that would be great. Otherwise they will not be discussed. i most certainly do not appreciate being lectured (in red no less) by someone who does not know me at all. i am an adult woman who knows exactly what i want in life. Perhaps he is the one who need to grow up.

Well, the last few pages has really changed what type of agony we're talking about.

I.M. seems to be working on a fine solution. As for everyone who isn't happy all with site rules I hope you still stay and play within the ones you can live with.

As for free speech, I haven't ponied up a dime for this site. If I want a site where anything and everything goes I should set up my own. I'd probably make new friends, like the FBI and the federal prosecutor. I need to go back to page one of this thread and see what the hell we're suppose to be talking about....

I don't think you're wrong, but is quite important to know your desires and limits in order to help you to reach your fantasy, and not break any law, bone or psyque.
By the way, you are the most important part of your fantasy and it's a primary goal to maintain the focus on you and only you.

I use red only to assure it attracts attention. Since you seemed to indicate you were speaking for a group, I treated it in that manner and I never suggested that anyone should grow up, but I will suggest that there are those among us who need to pause for thought before they push the reply button. The rules for this site are a work in progress and are subject to change without notice at any time, the staff is always right, and when someones post in deleted it is done only for the continued well being of the site.
I have no wish to offend anyone and I understand that the recent deletions of certain posts might have bruised a few egos, and that is regrettable, but necessary. If you or anyone else thinks you have been singled out for criticism I apologize, that was not my intention.
