You are of course correct.

The problem is that working with Poser™ hair props in 2005 was like unto a bitch, that is to say, really hard. To the point where Jedakk just went with a Roman style bun hair prop.

In a very early episode of Spartacus: Blood and Sand (not a reliable historical source ), a group of naked folks (I presume slaves?) is chained up in the back of the Pit, where gladiators battle to the gruesome death. If I remember right, it’s a group of three naked men and one gorgeous, similarly naked woman.

I always loved the random naked slaves in the background of Spartacus, most of them uncredited as they do not have speaking parts. Scenes like this make it strange that the female crucifixions were all clothed.
