The lower body was recreated by restoring a composite Damian figure into a plausible 'Crux Forest' scene, thereby creating another 'Makar fake' manipulation -

The idea was to produce a picture which might plausibly have been taken by Makar, by using his source components exclusively from that session.
The manipulation was constructed in three Photoshop files, and contains sixty visible layers, twenty-three of which account for the background construction.
On the other hand, this year's birthday tribute is a simpler and more obvious 'Crux Forest' fake, since it combines a Valery Anzilov portrait with Makar components.
