They've just reorganised local government again, and created an elected mayor over the five communities of West Yorkshire.
Out new mayor is Tracy Brabin, who has been an MP for one of the constituencies in the county.
This is one picture of her in Parliament which made quite a storm.
Does anyone else know of a female politician who would dress like that in their legislature?
