True, you can only take all the available precautions and hope for the best. I tend to follow issues like this, however, because I try to understand how things work, what it will take for reality to trump politics, etc. I also have the quaint notion that politicians might actually pay attention to my concerns if I present my case with facts, or at least they will put my missive in one of the buckets they use to decide where public opinion is going and how the next election might come out, and maybe my bucket will fill up. I always tell myself that if things go to hell, it won't be because of me.Honestly, I do not follow the Covid numbers in my region. Would it matter? I spend my time out of risk as much as possible, playing banjo, lubricating my automatic assault rifles, and being on CF. If I want to travel, I fly Flight Simulator. As long as Covid stays out of my house and/or does not kill me, why worry? I just try not letting it in.
Do all you can and should, then don't worry about it. I did go to a bar (not crowded) with some (vaccinated) friends tonight.
There is this uncomfortable story, though. It would be nice if certain US Senators would read it.
