Here in Thuringia, the Corona rules will start to be relaxed from tomorrow and from March 20th only the mask requirement will apply where many people come together and on buses and trains.

There are now more or less serious comments by German (again: more or less) "legal experts" who say that this cannot be "the last word" of the legal system in this case, because this would mean that this poor little priest is left alone by the protection of the state in the face of a woman chasing him all his life.

When this priest goes on appeal to the highest German courts and they would confirm this district court, "all we poor little men" could stay and be helpless and legally completely defenseless towards women with a psychiatrically confirmed state of "classic love mania", so the answer of the Catholic church in Germany to the " #MeToo-Movement" could be a Catholic "#WeLittlePriestsToo-Movement" and the state's secular monopoly on the use of force cannot actually allow this to happen.
:roflmao::eek: :rolleyes::facepalm:
Yet, 300-400 years ago, the poor woman would have been tried as a witch and burned, most probably, because she would have been deemed 'possessed'.

Hope all fellow Brits and Irish are safe from the appalling storms battering our countries; I’ve just seen a greenhouse roof ripped off.. with any luck all our cruxgirls are either securely chained up or nailed to strong timbers!
I securely nailed my cruxgirls, despite their complaints! But I take no chances with such forecasts! I can see their crosses a bit wobbling in the wind, but I trust it is timber of premium quality!
And since it is 15°C, they have no reason to complain for being naked either!

The wind speed is taking on here, on the continent. So far it is not that bad, but one never knows, and I shall be relieved when it will have passed by, this evening!:paraguas:

It's just not that bad at my house. Since we live a bit in the valley, the storm can't blow so hard.

That's why it's said again and again in the Cruxforum: Take French premium cross wood.

The measured wind-speeds over Europe are new record highs:

Usually, I congratulate to new records but this time, I feel pity for England.

England seems to become a "wind-breaker" in the future for the Netherlands and Germany because our wind-speeds are still damaging but not so high as in Great Britain:

Travelling in Europe could have been "a bit" adventurous during the last 48 hours:

Hey there. Once you guys get bored sitting around the coffee shop discussing the weather, why not come to the tavern that just opened down the street?

I'm one of the dancing girls who will entertain you. We love it when customers show their appreciation by grabbing our thighs and getting close to our naughty bits. :p

Dudley, Eunice, Franklin… three storms in a week.. what’s next.. “Gertrude”? Are we going to get through the whole alphabet this year?
I hope we don't reach the end of the alphabet within this year, and if that's not enough, we could continue with the Chinese alphabet, which has more characters. :eusa_doh:

They are just originating from one and the same low pressure area that is a bit persistent. There was a time, when a storm got given a name, there would not be a brick left on another one when it had passed by. Today, they give a name to every gust of wind. Such creates a sense of unsecurity and false urgency.

Reminds me of this great and under-rated novel. Side note: I actually heard the word “Ballardian” used the other day (it was in a tv thriller, used to describe a modern suburban housing project that did indeed have a “Ballardian” utopian/dystopian flavour); anyone else heard this word in use? And why “Ballardian” and not “Ballardesque”?
