The Illustrated Chronicle of the Lady Jasmine

Well, none of this bodes well. Jasmine is too emotionally attached and affected by all this. She's going to do something rash, I fear.
Those are both very effective images and capture the turmoil in Jasmine's mind, as well as effectively portraying the agony of Rebecca.

Yes, the contrast in her mind between the woman she knew with her life ahead of her, and the wretch struggling her last hours/days nailed to a cross. Dead but not dead, suspended between earth and heaven, it's a shocking state of non being, nothing but torment for mind and body.

A bit of a disagreement over some clothes
If the carnifex is smart, he'll stay out of that. When women start arguing about clothes... "Does this make me look fat?" "Will the patricians think this is nice?" "Will this dress come off easily if I'm crucified today?" :D
She will get them down off the crosses if it's the last thing she does? That's not going to be easy. One does see her point and admire her convictions, of course.

Right then, while Tree, having grabbed a snifter of Seagrams at the bar, is using the intermission to good effect to pursue his endless but doomed attempts to get Kathy to swallow, and while the rest of us are just taking a well-earned break, some housekeeping duties.

Firstly, the stars of the show

Jasmine is Jasmine Andreas,

And introduced to the forums by that assiduous hunter of beauty, @foggybottom

Rebecca surely needs little or no introcuction to any student of Cruxology:

Of course, none other than Nadya of Orchid Studios fame.

Helena, too, is very familiar:

She is Sasha from our very Cruxdreams studio, here manipulated onto the body of Spartacus' Mira by Bobinder, while Kore from the same series has often provided the lower three quarters of Rebecca.

Finally, Cassia, too, is the very familiar model Katya Clover, who has often graced our pages.

Bobinder and Jollyrei have done wonders, spending ages trawling the net for pictures of these four, so that my hard drive is now creaking under the weight of images that I carry of them all. Thanks gents!:beer:

I think Repertor's pictures have provided an excellent foundation for manipping, what say you?

Finally, I have to credit the marvellous French town of Aigues-Mortes, which has provided so many of the backgrounds. This is a beautiful walled town in the South of France close to Montpelier, and the South Gate in my story is played by the Porte de l'Organeau at the end of the Rue Victor Hugo:

To be sure, it looks like it might be a challenge to get a cross beam through, so when I've remembered I've widened it:

The second piece of housekeeping will be to repost some of the images without captions which, while they tell the story, can distract. I hope to get to that this evening.

The plan now is to get a bit more of the story done and pick it up again in the near furure.
