Yeah, it's most likely because the chosen resolution was too low for the AI to include all the expected details.
I'm unsure if those were made with Stable Diffusion (they look somewhat different from the typical output of SD models). But if so, the problem is usually fixed by running the sampler again on an upscaled latent image (a.k.a. "hires-fix"), or just inpainting with higher resolution (e.g. using a "detailer").
If it wasn't because the author didn't care or know how to fix the problem, it could be because the service they used didn't support such features.
I still liked the general idea conveyed by those images, though
Edit: I just noticed the names of the images contain "problembo.com", so I searched the site. It seems my suspicion was right that those weren't made by SD but with a different kind of AI. The models and options they provide feel extremely limited, and they still charge for the service. I don't know why anyone would want to use it when there are many better free options on the internet.
