Hello everyone, it is me again, Alice. I am only on this website since 24 hours and yet I am posting very much. I do hope you guys are not ennoyed with my high activity. But I totally fell in love with this website and am so motivated to post stuff here. Yesterday I started a story about myself as a victim of the inquisition and today, I start a second project. In this series, I will research, examine and explain different torture und execution methods. This blog is not supposed to be erotic but more informing for interested minds. But I guess I will show pictures depicting the different methods and the pictures will be going more into the usual porn direction. But now, let us start with the first, classical method.

EPISODE 1 - STRAPPADO

Strappado is one of the most famous and well known torture methods and has also found it's way into the BDSM scene. For the strappado method the victim is hanged by it's arms. Many people think, that it is also called strappado, when the victims is hanged by it's arms with the hands above the head, but this is not accurate. By using this torture method, the victim's hands are tied behind his back and then dragged upwards. The victim is forced to bow forwards and feeling intense pain in it's shoulders and back. In the BDSM scene, the sub on which this method is used keeps the contact to the ground with the feet or at least the toes. This is absolutely necessary and the difference between the BDSM version of strappado and the actual method. When it was used as a real way of torture, the victim was dragged up in the air, loosing the contact to the ground, which was extremely dangerous. The weight of the body would be too much for the shoulders after some time and several bones in the back and shoulders broke, which was a fatal injury for the victim, from which they would not recover and often even died because of the caused damage in the aftermath. Sometimes additional weight was attached to the victim's feet, like heavy stone weights, which used to speed up the process of the bone breaking immense. With additional weights at the feet, not only the shoulders were damaged, but also the legs and the hips got destroyed. This was later turned into an execution method, called "Estrapado", which I will probably discuss in a later episode. Because of the immediate danger by using this method, it was not executed for more then one hour until the victim was permitted a break, because it would have been resulted in the immediate death otherwise.
The first known mention of the method, that I could find during my researches appeared in the year 1486 in the book "Malleus Maleficarum", better known as the witch hammer. This book was considered as a manual for the torture of accused witches in the middle ages. It describes, which torture devices should be used and in which order to force a confession and therefore, it also mentions strappado. Interestingly, opposing the fact, that strappado is one of the most well known and basic torture methods, the witchhammer mentions it more at the end of an interrogation and states, that it should be used in case of serious crimes.
Strappado was often used by the inquisition and is today mainly connected with the witch hunts. This is not without reason, since it was most of the time used in witch trials. But there were also other cases in which the method has been used. As an example, I would like to call the case of Girolamo Savonarola. He was an italien priest and friar in the 15th century. After the fall of the Medici era in Florence, he was not satisfied with the new political course of the church and started to rise critics against it. This is an extreme simplified account of the details, but an accurate description would fill severate pages and is very complex and hard to understand. Anyways, in the end, the strappado was also used against him before he was burned alive in 1498.
The strappado method finally vanished by the end of the 17th century but had a sad comeback in the 20th century. When the nazis found out about the method, they revived it and used it to torture prisoners and (accused) spys to obtain informations from them.
During the vietnam war, the method has been used in Hoa Lo prison, better known as "Hanoi Hilton", against prisoners, especially gunned down american bombers. The aim was in this case not to obtain information, but to break the will and the resistance of the prisoners.
In the last few years, this cruel method seems to have a sad comeback. Since the end of the 90s, more and more reports appear of the use of strappado. For example it was reported to been used in Turkey, Libya, Iraq, Ukraine and even by the CIA in the aftermath of 9/11 attacks.
If you did enjoy this first episode of my new blog let me know, which torture device I should explain next and feel free to follow me for more, if you like.

This looks to be a promising thread, and it deserves to stand alone, but there are others that are on related themes and topics, such as:

Enjoy!

Very nice explanation and a pleasure to read, thank you, @witchwhore . I am mostly interested in torture/interrogation scenes set in modern times and my request is to go into detail with two techniques:
- waterboarding
- extreme confinement (small cell, cold/heat, light/darkness, loud noises, sleep deprivation, systematic rape, sexual humiliation, beating)
The subjects of my fantasies are exclusively females.

Of course strappado could be so much more painful with added weights tied to the girls bare feet, some even attached weights to her big toes causing excruciating pain. It became squassation when the girl was lifted by her arms behind her back as In strappado till her head reached the torture chamber roof, after awhile the girl was allowed to drop but not to the ground only letting the weight on her feet stretch her more cruelly, dislocating shoulders, writs, elbows hips, knees and ankles. Tendons and ligaments would tear causing exquisite agony nobody could imagine

I can explain:

Waterboarding

You find yourself strapped to a board, tilted backward at a slight angle. Your head is lower than your feet, about 15-20 degrees off horizontal. This isn't just uncomfortable; it's strategic. The incline allows water to flow more easily into your nose and mouth while preventing it from immediately filling your lungs. You're positioned for maximum distress, but not quick asphyxiation.

A cloth is placed over your face, covering your nose and mouth. This seemingly simple addition is crucial to the ordeal you're about to endure. It will act as a one-way valve, allowing you to exhale but making inhalation nearly impossible. It will also prolong the presence of water on your face, intensifying the drowning sensation.

Water begins to pour onto the cloth from about a foot above your face. Immediately, you feel it seeping through, trickling into your nose and mouth. Your gag reflex kicks in violently as you start to choke and sputter. The cloth clings wetly to your skin, amplifying the sensation of drowning.

Panic sets in as your body screams for air. Your lungs burn for oxygen, but each attempt to inhale only draws in more water. The tilted position adds to your disorientation, making you feel utterly helpless. You can't see what's happening due to the cloth, which only heightens your fear.

Just as the darkness starts to close in, they stop. The cloth is lifted, and you're allowed to cough and vomit up the water you've ingested. But before you can fully catch your breath, it begins again. The cloth is replaced, and once more you're plunged into the terror of imminent death by drowning.

This cycle typically lasts 20-40 seconds at a time, carefully controlled to maximize psychological impact while minimizing the risk of actual drowning. The repeated exposure compounds the trauma, exploiting your body's instinctive fear of drowning to create overwhelming panic and terror within seconds.

While no permanent physical damage may be immediately apparent, the experience is profoundly traumatic. Your body struggles against the restraints, potentially causing injuries to your limbs. More significantly, the oxygen deprivation, though brief, can potentially damage your brain and other organs.

The psychological impact is severe and long-lasting. Victims often develop PTSD, anxiety disorders, and intense phobias related to water. Some find themselves unable to bathe or be out in the rain without panicking, the trauma of the experience deeply ingrained in their psyche.

This is waterboarding - a centuries-old torture technique designed to inflict extreme psychological and physical distress. Its proponents have argued it's an effective interrogation tool, but the trauma and fear it induces often leads victims to say anything to make it stop, regardless of truth. As Christopher Hitchens, who voluntarily underwent the procedure, put it: "If waterboarding does not constitute torture, then there is no such thing as torture".

Enjoy. :)

What is systematic rape?
