Perhaps it's only an impression, but Agonius' figure seems floating in the air...
 
He just needs a bit more shadow under his feet. The site has been busy, lots of posts and new members but not seen ascanio, N8Dreams, buckinghambruno for a while. But Phlebas and Falco are now here so we shall see.

I know ascanio's been busy lately with "real life",​

CHAINED AND ABANDONED!​

Queen Virginita is taken down to the deepest dungeon and chained. She is left completely alone for weeks with only the occassional visit to offer her food and drink. She felt completely abandoned and has only her thoughts for company.

Queen Virginita: “It’s good that my wounds are gradually healing and in a few weeks my injuries will be invisible but this isolation is worse than being on the rack! I would rather suffer their whips and red hot probes than this isolation. Presumably they want me looking good with clear skin for some reason”​

In fact the Governer had been so impressed by her resistance and so attracted by her drop dead beauty that he wanted to sample her charms before obeying Rome’s command to execute her once her questioning was finished.

His instructions to Agonius were: “Stop the torture for now and transfer her to solitary confinement until her wounds are healed. Then have her bathed, dressed and brought to my rooms. We will resume her punishment later”

Naturally Agonius knew what he was planning to do with her. He was very jealous of the Governers privileges and hoped that when he had finished with her he would allow him to pleasure himself with her as well.

TAKEN BEFORE THE GOVERNOR​

Eventually Queen Virginita's wounds healed and she was deemed ready to meet the Governor. You have made me scream and writhe in agony for days on end and you are trying to enslave my people. Why would I want to discuss anything with you?”

Governor: “You are my prisoner so and I have the power to make life much easier for you if you were to cooperate . . . .”

REFUSAL TO COMPLY​

The Governer takes Queen Virginita over to his special bed and she sees the manacles, whip and cane. . .

Queen Virginita: “You have a strange way of entertaining your ladies”

Governer: “None of them complain . . in fact they all leave with a smile on their faces and ask me to summon them again soon!”

She believes what he says is true as the Governer was a very well built man and hugely attractive to her. She knows it would be easy to give in to him but it would not change the fact that she was doomed to die so why give him what he wants?

Queen Virginita: “If you think I am going to give the slightest pleasure to you, my worst enemy, then you are wrong!”

Governer: “If you disappoint me then you will be returned to suffer even more harsh agonies. My torturers were very upset when I stopped them so you could recover and come to be my lover. If I send you back they will make up for lost time with a vengeance”

Queen Virginita: “You just don’t get it, do you! My last service to my people is to resist your painful abuse and die without telling you anything of value. It is not my misfortune but my privilege”

Governer: “Very commendable but many a determined prisoner has changed their minds under extreme pressure. So if you change your mind just tell your tormentors and they should stop. But be warned – they may not understand your words when you are screaming, hahahah!”

Queen Virginita: “Very funny! But I would rather suffer a thousand deaths in your torture chambers than let you comfort your manhood inside my vagina”

Governer: “So be it! Because you have refused to satisfy me, I will instruct my torturers to work hard on your sexual organs before I have you publicly executed”

He summons a very special employee to come and take her away . . . .
