Since my early youth, I wrote in early years several times about my experiences, not much different from others, I had a perpetual resistance to think about a possible discovery of my, so Messaline said,
my deepest fantasies.

When ever they have discovered that I crucify myself, only one time, not to confess I do it since my youth, what will be happen?
I cannot oversee what will come and how I must react. Luckily many people would not understand and quickly forget it but I think the scandal is complete.

If then, can I yet normally walk over street without to have been stared ?
 
You omit an option,

--- attempt to explain.

calmly, openly, as well as you can, leaving all the contradictions open to see.

That's different from "defend" - do it without any attempt to shield yourself.
Let them judge if they wish.
Be vulnerable.
If they still want to hurt you for it, despite you being defenseless - so be it, it's on them.
If you defend or "counterattack" you will get anger and escalation and no attempt of understanding.

It's very hard, at least it has been for me, but I think it can be right.
It will always hugely depend on your situation.
 
That would be considered rather pushy in England,
you'd need to say something like,
"I say, excuse me, I'm frightfully sorry to trouble you,
but if you wouldn't mind giving me a hand -
well, both my hands really -
I'd be most awfully grateful." ;)

I live far away, in southern Brazil, here would be like: "Hey you, idiot, what are you doing there looking at me? untie me now , your ass!" hehehe, a little ....diferent!

Wise words, Malins.

I voted 'defend yourself', thinking that attack is the best defence. Do not try to beg them for understanding, but try to explain, and persuade them, that this is simply my nature, I was born with these fantasies, so, that is the way it is. Accept it!
Try to exploit the confusion this explanation creates.
I know it is not always easy.

My inquietude has always been, since my youth and till now. Isn't it not an absolutely crazy intimacy in (y)our personal life? Should we abnegate our right for discretion?

Since the sixties with their sexual revolution all physical en psychological details lay on street, in magazines and on films. But the S/M or a modern term as BDSM stay backwards in the publicity. And our secret cruxlove too.

I think that's always been the way - the kind my local poet Burns called 'unco guid',
if they knew what I get up to here, they'd love throwing stones at me :devil:
