When My Crux Is Public Scandal?

I live far away, in southern Brazil, here would be like: "Hey you, idiot, what are you doing there looking at me? untie me now , your ass!" hehehe, a little ....diferent!

Then in the UK they might reply "Screw you mate, you got yourself into it, untie yourself!"
(Or in Australia too, perhaps?)

Maybe in English not rhyme:
If the reputation is ruined,
living it quite openly.

seems sensible - I don't know if we have any equivalent proverb in English -
'As well be hanged for a sheep as for a lamb' might be appropriate,
but it's not saying quite the same

From German literature I know that Leopold von Sacher-Masoch told about experiences with his wife but that the society did not appreciate this. When your good name has evaporated you never can catch him back. Emancipation about our crux I do not see when ever.
