Rack Torture

Go to CruxDreams.com
After posting this comment I did a Google search for Reclining Crucifixion just to see if the photo I remembered had ever reappeared on the net. Much to my surprise Google sent me to Crux Forums and displayed the comment above. Somehow, I thought you had to be a signed in member to see comments on Crux Forums. Evidently not. So beware.
Yes, the only thing you can't do with pictures if you're not signed up is enlarge thumbnails -
another reason why we prefer members to post thumbnails not full-size.
But any text or images we post on public threads here can be read by anybody - including robots -
and found by any search engines like Google.

I did a Google image search for old conveyor belts looking for that "rack". I found two thing of interest.
First, this looks a lot like our rack. It's some kind of old textile machine.

Secondly, I found this:
"A stripper at a Tokyo striptease show is taken past the audience on a moving conveyor belt, 1957."

Ah, the Japanese. Always improving on Western technology.

Fordism in the strip joint? Wonder how many naked girls they could roll off the assembly line in an hour?

This is a rack and is only a rack. Instead of using chains or ropes to stretch the subject she is laid on it with the 'accordion' either flat or a series of 'W's (WWWWWW) and her ankles and wrists are bound to four fixed points. As the center wheel is turned it draws the 'W's closer together with the ones closest to her wrists and ankles collapsing and raising the 'w's closer to the centerline until it forms it's barrel shape both stretching her and painfully bending her back over the cross-ribs that in this case are square. It is a little complex but surely effective...

Sincerely

The Head Inquisitor

I have found it on Kink.com the "Device Bondage" section. Mona Wales is the subject stretched over the device.
Her wrists and ankles are held in strong points positioned above the floor, not on the rack frame itself.Rack arch 0.jpg
The view above is more clear as it is a side view, the end view shows the 2 sets of links.

There is a free preview trailer available, which shows clips of the various scenes form this shoot.

the extension (from lat. extensio "stretching") and pull apart on the rack

the case for me is centered around the issue to the realistic extension at body and limbs.

the different rack design

If the hand are bound to a fixed point, then by having the ratchet mechanism near the feet, the entire body is pulled in the lower direction.
maximum stretching of the arms will occur before maximum stretching of the legs is complete, if the rack owner preferred to cane, flog, etc. the arms.
the opposite is true is the legs are secured and the ratchet is at the upper end of the rack. the legs grow to a maximum taut first, but because most of a person's mass is in their midsection and thigh area, the arms are pulled for pain much faster, even though the arms are yet to reach maximum stretch.
the beauty of such a design is that the "head" and "foot" of the rack depend completely on which direction a person is laid onto it.

a rack where either the hand or foot position can be in a single locked position and the opposing end of the rack is where the ratchet mechanism rests.
this way, it will be possible to best isolate whether the upper body or lower body is the primary focus for the rack owner.

the most effective method of inflicting true pain at that point is to have the central section of the rack (where the body's midsection is resting) be a free-floating section that can then rise above the rack table itself, whether by means of a hydraulic jack or manual jack (as in the jacks found in cars to change tyres).
what this does is place stress equally on both hands and feet and accomplishes additional stretching without having to have additional length to the rack.

Nowadays of course custom-made and comfortable padded leather fetter cuffs are in use when the female body is being stretched on the rack or during suspension till to the body limit and strung to the point at which hips, legs, ankles and joints have reached their extension at the full length till to the point of feeling to be pulled apart.

the interesting case for me is centered around the issue to find authentic empirical values for an exchange of experience about the topic of the body and limbs to separate movable entities and moving them in opposite directions.

thank you for all with the rack enthusiasts and attention into this specific subject and for anything they answer can offer.

Thank you for extensive and complete explanation.
