That's an oldie, TC.
It's so well done, so convincing. A real meditation in suffering and sacrifice.
It can't be that far fetched. There must have been a few people who went too far in their devotions, too far in their imagination. Really carrying the cross, shouldering that burden, feeling that suffering.
I know some catholics do tend towards worship of suffering almost for it's own end. Look at Opus Dei, or the Filipinos crucified at Easter. How close they must come to their fantasies, their secret pleasure.
The sacred and the profane, an endless dance.

Because I do not know what eta written on pictures (you can not paste written text in photos and move on to the translator, and my time walking short to copy word for word), I imagine, but I'm not sure what is written.

She is praying that she may share the suffering of Jesus. In each picture she prays that she experiences what we see.

Very nice series, TC. I once hung from a tree in the woods while imaging the whipping. You have to watch out for the tree pitch. It is very sticky and hard to remove, especially from hair. A word to the wise.

Which is why Tree exclusively uses Messaline' Premium French Crucifixion Wood. It is kiln dried and finished to natural perfection...

Nice to see Shannon again, TC, nice long session.
I believe that is WelshWebb in the hood. You still out there WW?

Thank you Top Cat, I admit with so much of interest here I omit Steampunk now. I enjoyed these and the Trains posted today.

I lost track of the steampunk thread ages ago, and now I'm afraid to go back as there is so much there!
